E-Waste had been a dangerous worldwide problem before these recent headlines cited warnings by the UN:

- World’s E-Waste ‘Unsustainable’, Says UN Report Citing China, India, and US
E-Waste was a problem before AirPods became popular. It will continue to be a problem even after the combustible radiation-emitting devices are “retired” by Apple.
Scientists have been warning about E-Waste for a long time and continue to do so. Some environmentalists have been warning about it too. Regardless, the increasingly opposed worldwide “Race to 5G” (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. 12, 13) for increasingly opposed “Smart Cities” (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) will undoubtedly make the E-Waste problem much bigger and scarier even without AirPods contributing to it.
