Tens of millions of utility “Smart” Meters have already been installed around the world. They have been associated with so many issues (including fires and explosions) that a documentary was produced and released in 2013 called, Take Back Your Power which was updated and re-released in 2017.
People everywhere do not want “Smart” Meters, including in the UK:
Because “Smart” Meters are so unpopular there, proponents seem to have sunk to a new low by encouraging a popular TV drama to feature a psycho killer pose as a meter reader:
From Digitalspy.com:
Having become a fan favourite in the first two seasons of The Missing, French investigator Julien Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo) now has his own spin-off series.
And as the first episode premiered tonight (February 17), the main take-away for viewers was the importance of owning a smart meter.
The episode opened with a brutal murder as a menacing Romanian individual by the name of Constantin (God’s Own Country’s Alec Secareanu) posed as a company gas man to get into an old man’s house.
Once inside, Constantin horrifically suffocated the elderly gentleman with a plastic bag before cutting up his body with a chainsaw. (He didn’t use half enough protective plastic sheets to cater for the spray.)
This is not the first outlandish attempt at convincing Brits to embrace these problematic meters. In 2014 they paid activist and musician Sir Bob Geldof to campaign for them. Expensive TV ads and other promotional videos have also been produced since as well as a cheesy (and confusing) campaign song and video.
Utility “Smart” Meters emit harmful wireless WiFi radiation. Exposure can cause many health issues including increased cancer risk and the disruption of the blood-brain barrier. Regardless, recently UK proponents have also started installing smart meters on the homes of dementia patients so they can monitor and track them. How pathologically thoughtful.
Regardless, some viewers of this TV episode may now be terrified of meter readers. However “Smart” Meters being installed on their homes is more likely to create a wide variety of other horrifying consequences and symptoms.
I can’t seem to face up to the facts
I’m tense and nervous and I
Can’t relax
I can’t sleep ’cause my bed’s on fire
Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire
Psycho Killer
Qu’est-ce que c’est ?
fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better
Run run run run run run run away,,,
