Governor Asks FCC Chair to “take immediate action as directed by the courts” to Update Wireless Radiation Safety Regulations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect Americans by regulating the telecom industry. It has failed to do so for decades (see 1, 2) and this has led to several lawsuits filed against the regulatory agency. In fact, last year, a federal court ruled in favor of organizations and petitioners that sued the FCC for NOT adequately protecting Americans from wireless radiation exposure from 5G and other sources of wireless. Additionally, in 2019, telecom executives gave congressional testimony that they had NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe. Despite the court ruling and the congressional testimony, the FCC (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) as well as other government and state agencies and committees (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) have continued to promote and fund 5G deployment and densification on land and in space as well as that of 4G and public Wi-Fi (which also poses known exposure risks). Thanks to the governor of Wyoming for requesting that the FCC immediately update wireless safety regulations to ensure public safety.

RE: August 13, 2021 judgment by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, in Environmental Health Trust et al. v. the FCC

Dear Chairwoman Rosenworcel,

In response to the judgment by the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Environmental Health Trust case, I am requesting that appropriate actions be taken immediately to wireless radiofrequency radiation levels. I request that the FCC ensure an up to date examination of its wireless radiofrequency radiation regulations by reopening Docket 13-84 (“Reassessment of FCC Radiofrequency Exposure Limits and Policies”) to refresh the record before issuing its final response to the judgment.

The current scientific research must be immediately reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner so that the health and safety of our citizens is prioritized. Consumers must have accurate information related to the benefits and risks of the products and services available to them. Policies should be reflective of current scientific research performed in accordance with utilization. It is impossible for consumers to make educated decisions without accurate information; therefore, I am requesting that you take immediate action as directed by the courts to review the research and update any policies as necessary for the health and wellbeing of all citizens, including the most vulnerable, our children.

Opposition to 5G is worldwide which has limited, slowed, and/or stopped deployment in some locations (see 1, 2). Since 2017 doctors and scientists have asked for moratoriums on Earth and in space (see 1, 2) and the majority of scientists oppose deployment. Since 2018 there have been reports of people and animals experiencing symptoms and illnesses after it was activated (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ). Some researchers have suggested that 5G activation may be contributing to COVID-19 infections as well as hundreds of thousands if not millions of bird deaths. Of course, there are also health risks associated with exposure to 4G and other sources of wireless Wi-Fi radiation (see 1, 2) and electromagnetic fields (aka “Electrosmog”) and that may be contributing to numerous symptoms and illnesses as well.
