In 2020, scientists in the U.S. started collecting and analyzing sewage to track COVID-19 infections (see 1, 2, 3). In December 2021, labs started testing for the Omicron variant as well. More recently the CDC decided to create a wastewater surveillance dashboard and expand wastewater testing.
Sounds expensive, doesn’t it?
In other COVID news,
- One state that didn’t shut down for COVID-19 seems to be doing about the same as states that did
- Millions of COVID tests have been recalled due to inaccuracies
- Some experts claimed that the U.S. COVID death count is not being accurately reported
- Members of the Amish community believe they obtained “herd immunity” the natural way in 2020
Additionally, despite more Americans taking the jab, a significant number of vaccine recipients are still getting the virus. In the meantime, side effects, injuries, and deaths also continue to be blamed on the COVID jab. Regardless, there is still increasing pressure for children (see 1, 2) and adults (see 1, 2) to take it and this has led to numerous lawsuits (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).
