More Amazon Ring Camera Woes: Hackers Taunt Children and Adults

By B.N. Frank

It was only a few weeks ago when Amazon issued a patch to Ring video doorbell users because of severe security flaw.  Yesterday, there were 2 new reports of hackers compromising Ring cameras (see 1, 2).

Wireless and smart devices may seem convenient but they are actually easier to hack.

Internet of Things (IoT) applications are also easy to hack AND they have a 74% failure rate.  That’s why so many security experts continue to warn against using it (see 1, 2).

Wireless and smart devices also emit biologically and environmentally harmful Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) or Electrosmog.  Most would agree that there’s nothing convenient about being exposed to pollutants either (see 1, 2, 3).
