Is There A “Gotcha” Society: The Brett Kavanaugh Debacle

If fairness is a common denominator in most people’s lives, then what’s happening in the Judge Brett Kavanaugh Senate approval process?

It seems those who are bringing allegations against Kavanaugh either have poor memories or are misled by fantasies of what may or may not have happened.  Why send questions around to other party goers of the time to confirm if what the second accuser claims really happened?  And, no one seems able to recall!

To my way of thinking, and I was a teen at one time and attended parties, I never experienced anything like Kavanaugh’s accusers claim.  Why?  If you attended Catholic schools, it was ingrained into your consciousness that such activity not only was immoral but sinful.  Most of those students who attended Catholic schools lived by that edict.  However, there could have been those who didn’t, still, I only can speak from what I know and experienced as a student interacting with Catholic school kids.  That being said, let’s hear what Judge Kavanaugh had to say in a Fox News interview.

Then, there’s that infamous letter Dr. Blasey-Ford supposedly wrote to Sen. Feinstein, and which a few people have deconstructed as not a proper writing style for a PhD graduate and highly published author, which I’m inclined to agree with, but for different reasons.

In this article by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, and editor at Natural News, “BOMBSHELL: Christine Blasey Ford’s letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein revealed to be a total FAKE… contains 14 glaring errors that could only be committed by a poorly educated writer”

Adams points out that Dr. Ford said she did not want her letter made public.  Why did Sen. Feinstein break that confidentiality?  Furthermore, Adams questions whether Ford’s original letter possibly was rewritten by someone less sophisticated in writing, but for the purpose of being made public.

With the entire circus atmosphere going on regarding the Judge Kavanaugh confirmation, I cannot help but go back in my mind to the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings when Anita Hill challenged his ethics and sexual harassment toward her.  I was working in Washington, DC, at the time and was glued to the TV set during those remarkable days.  Did you know Clarence Thomas was a corporate lawyer for Monsanto?

Somehow, in my opinion, these new allegations may be a last chance Leftist “gotcha” tactic for those who oppose a Catholic judge from having a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.  Should the Senate consider tactics other than #MeToo being used, including religious opposition, which ought to become a focal questioning point when the Kavanaugh hearings proceed?

Lastly, if Judge Kavanaugh had six (6) FBI investigations into his background, etc. during his career for promotions up the legal ladder, don’t you think something would have surfaced before now?
