Sign of the Times: Google Searches For “World War 3” Hit Highest Peak EVER

By Jack Burns

As further evidence the United States is inching dangerously toward armed conflict with Russia, China, and Iran, the actual term “World War 3” is being searched on the Internet at an all-time high. Google began tracking trending topics in 2004. Since that time, the term hasn’t drawn very much of the world’s attention, with the exception of years 2006, 2015, and now, 2017.

Interest in the term “World War 3” first peaked in 2006, when the sovereign state of Israel was engaged in skirmishes with Hezbollah, the Palestinian group some have likened to a terrorist organization. It was called the Israel-Hezbollah War of 2006. After enduring an onslaught of homemade missiles by Hezbollah soldiers, Israel retaliated and ended the war laying waste to many parts of Lebanon, the country from which many of the attacks were staged.

Israel was heavily criticized for its heavy-handed bombardment of the sovereign country of Lebanon. The war came to an end in August but not before, apparently, many folks were concerned enough about a global war erupting that they performed a great number of Internet inquiries regarding world war.

Interest in “World War 3” peaked again in November of 2015. That’s when a Russian airliner Metrojet Flight 9268 crashed in the Egyptian desert of Sharm el Sheikh. What was at first considered a tragic accident, soon evolved into an apparent act of terrorism. Later, the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed responsibility for the attack. It uploaded pictures of a soda-can-bomb it says it used to bring down the passenger jet, killing all 224 souls aboard.

Now, in 2017, the term “World War III” has once again peaked an interest among Internet users. But this time, the interest dwarfs all previous years. Google describes its rating system in the following way, “Numbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart for the given region and time. A value of 100 is the peak popularity for the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. Likewise a score of 0 means the term was less than 1% as popular as the peak.” Currently in 2017, the term sits at 100. In 2015, it was at 69, and in 2006, it was at 40. All of which makes many who are watching the current international conflict take place understandably uneasy.

President Donald Trump’s administration, not content with allowing Russia to deal with ISIS, the Syrian Free Army, and others, decided last week to launch a barrage of cruise missiles into Syria in a ‘symbolic’ objection to the reported gassing of Syrian civilians.

Trump, who vowed repeatedly never to go into Syria, waited only 77 days before lighting the fuse that could potentially set off, what some fear to be, according to google, World War 3.

Although the US has been bombing Syria for more than three years — killing countless civilians in the process — this marks the first time the White House had ordered military action against forces loyal to the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad.

However, as late as Wednesday, Trump backtracked a bit promising the Americans “We’re not going into Syria,” but many of his critics simply don’t believe him. Syria and its allies (Russia and Iran) don’t believe him either and issued their own statements on the matter.

In a joint press conference with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Moscow yesterday, Putin stated,

We have reports from multiple sources that false flags like this one – and I cannot call it otherwise – are being prepared in other parts of Syria, including the southern suburbs of Damascus. They plan to plant some chemical there and accuse the Syrian government of an attack.

With war rhetoric with Russia being at an all-time high since the Cuban Missile Crisis, it’s easy to see why so many people are now googling the term “World War 3.”

  1. So you search to find out when it’s gonna start and make sure the TV is on??

    • No need. Just make sure you’re connected to twitter. The American people love to record everything as they just sit and watch. Selfies included. What a bonus !
Not sure who will be left to view it afterwards though.

  2. “As further evidence the United States is inching dangerously toward armed conflict with Russia, China, and Iran, ”

BTW, it is not “the United States” but rather the controlled by Zionist government we have allowed to take over. In a cooperative assault with the Zionist media’s lies and inflamatory rehetoric the sheep pay for their own slaughter. ☹️

    • Excuse me Joe, I have a reply to you “pending”. I’m going to post it in 3 parts to figure out what the scary thought might be.

      • I’m ready.

        • That was it, thanks for your patience. It went through piecemeal after I used a lower case “L” and zero for the I O after a Z.

          • You lost me. :-/ What happened?

          • I made a reply to you in 3 paragraphs and A. Post and or “the spooks” held it back for moderation. So I re-posted each paragraph one at a time. They seemed to go through, but I’m not always sure because the post goes up and then it’s pulled shortly after as “pending”. I discovered the first one went to pending by happenstance, realizing it as I was looking for something in my Disqus stream.

          • AP put one of mine to you in limbo. It had a link to the late guy who did the research on the military ties to the LA rock scene in the 69’s, Dave McGowan. AP’s auto flagging sucks.

          • I’ve caught his analyses on Gnostic Media reports, he knows his stuff! I understand he recently passed away, unless I’m thinking of someone else from Jan Irvin’s group. Recently, Irvin posted several new talks with Hans Utter (a music PhD) on this same topic. It’s on the Gnostic Media youtube channel. Fascinating stuff taking deep dives into social engineering including some deep discussions on popular counter culture authors. Their ties to TPTB boggles the mind. Last month watching Irvin and Utter, it was the first time I heard about Ivy Lee, a psychiatrist in the exact mold of Bernays serving the establishment for psy op mind control. Lee was the uncle of counter culture novelist William Burroughs. I was their bit on Ginsberg, he is a piece of work (and a communist pedo, advocate of pederastry as was Burroughs). I still have to watch their talk on Abbie Hoffman. Much to take in and never enough time, my friend!

          • Same guy.

I had a nasty email exchange with Irvin a few years ago. Apparently questioning him about anything gets religated into a “fallacy” accusation attack using the very fallacies he so cleverly turns back on you. He went on my “don’t trust” list maybe 2013.

          • I’ve noticed his ego issues and short temper too. Lots of people like that in the alt sphere. Best to make notes on idiosyncrasies and take in information in an objective manner. We’re forever sorting the wheat from the chaff, doesn’t matter where we get our info, even pure facts can be ‘loaded’ in a certain way to create an artificial frame, right? 😉

          • You are so correct, objective harvesting has become de rigour for these times. Just the ability to discern “pure” facts is challenging as you said.

          • One thing I heard from Yoko that she actually got right was “The military industrial complex is working 24/7/365 …while the alternative media is continually quarreling amongst their own petulant egos” (words to that effect)

    • Interesting this meme is pounding the internet not long after China held the last G20 in which Chinese officials emphasized the importance of global governance and one even said in a speech if the world doesn’t go down that path there will be war! China’s G20 logo had a big all seeing eye right in the middle (nice touch!).

    • China is a US nemesis / rival yet last October Obama signs control over the internet to the UN via ICANN with China poised to manage most of it, said to be worth trillions in data collection. Are we really that disconnected and compartmentalized as a society that we can’t figure out which end is up anymore? Hmm.

    • After all of that cut and paste below. I’ll end on a lighter note with a Robin Williams quote:

“If women ran the world we wouldn’t have wars, just intense negotiations every 28 days.” 😉

  3. Add Joe Vialls if you’re willing to ponder what might have been – also gone and not to be forgotten. Stirling stuff from both.
But connection with the military is just one little piece of Daves’ magic Laurel Canyon work – like a common denominator that comes uncomfortably close to a proof, I guess.

Joe also knew how the baddest of the bad operated, and told us so.
