New Report Claims Hillary Clinton Wanted to Assassinate Assange with Drone Strike

A new article published on TruePundit.com and tweeted by WikiLeaks claims that in 2010, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton broached the idea of launching a drone strike to take out Julian Assange.

Assange’s latest batch of leaks at that time, dubbed CableGate, had become an embarrassment to the Obama administration and constituted what State Department officials viewed as a danger to the international intelligence community.

True Pundit’s unconfirmed report alleges the topic came up on the morning of Tuesday, November 23, 2010, on Mahogany Row at the State Department, where Secretary Clinton abruptly changed the focus of the meeting from the color of her sweater to extrajudicial assassination.

“Can’t we just drone this guy?” True Pundits anonymous sources say she asked, prompting a full discussion of legal and non-legal methods of dealing with the WikiLeaks whistleblowing organization. After all, she said, he was a soft target, “walking around” and freely disseminating private correspondence between diplomats and foreign leaders.

According to True Pundit, Clinton’s alleged question even generated an email with the stunning subject header, “an SP memo on possible legal and nonlegal strategies re Wikileaks.” The email, written by one of her top aides, appears to echo the alleged brainstorming session during which Clinton had questioned why the whistleblower could not be killed without due process. Still, it’s important to note “nonlegal” does not necessarily mean “illegal,” and the text of the email does not reference drones, meaning the foundation of True Pundit’s report rests on the anonymous, unconfirmed accounts of former State Department employees.

If True Pundit‘s report is factual, it is unclear whether or not this information was shared with President Obama.

Shortly after the meeting, the CableGate documents began to circulate, and Assange sought asylum at the Ecuadorian embassy in England.

Coming during a presidential campaign in which Assange has released several damaging troves of documents related to Clinton and the DNC, the revelation adds even more context to the escalating rhetoric aimed at WikiLeaks. In fact, the disclosure makes the establishment’s Cold War-like attribution to Russian hacking suddenly seem almost friendly.

It certainly isn’t terribly surprising. Anti-Media recently speculated on why the mainstream media was suddenly serving as a conduit for various DNC figures to advocate for Assange’s murder. The thesis was that such rhetoric would pave the way for an actual military strike against Assange and, eventually, more whistleblowers.

It appears that if the True Pundit report is accurate, the first part of this assessment was also correct. The State Department under Clinton actively deliberated on non-legal military strikes against the head of WikiLeaks. At this point, it is not hard to imagine that the next major leak — which could very well make for a historic October surprise — will be labeled a boon to counterintelligence and, therefore, a threat to national security.

Regardless of whether or not True Pundit‘s allegations are true, if Clinton is elected president in November, her past record on drones makes it reasonable to expect her strategies will employ extrajudicial assassination.

One can’t help but notice a glaring ethical inconsistency in the State’s reaction to leaks. American citizens who “have nothing to hide” are expected to tolerate invasions of their privacy by the government for the sake of national security — yet that same government is unwilling to peacefully adhere to a standard of transparency when their words and actions are brought to light.

  1. Gotta love Assange with his Rothschild lawyer and admiration for Rupert Murdoch. So why would Hillary want to assassinate a CIA asset who helped with the leaks inciting the Arab Spring? It’s soap opera-esque.

July 2010 Assange Q&A with a Belfast Telegraph reporter: What about 9/11? ASSange: “I’m constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud.” What about the Bilderberg conference? “That is vaguely conspiratorial, in a networking sense. We have published their meeting notes.”

  2. Hillary will fit right in with any bunch of stone cold killers.

    • … yep, sitting around with dem’ stone cold killas in a camouflaged pant suit, but plastered with corporate logos such as Gold-in-Sacks, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Walmart, Exxon, BP, and the first quasi military pant suit ever. It sports military lapels along with skull and bones buttons made of shiny brass on top of human skull fragments that has been pulverized and reshaped.

After the first round of beers and tales of exploits… wild laughter…

    • It is a serious implication that a future US government would consider drone technology for pure political assassination purposes. It one thing to utilize it in a war zone on military targets but to considerer use on friendly soil on a non-combat is insanity. It is hard to believe we are talking about this.

      • Even the “liberal” darling Bernie Sanders said he’d continue with the drones.

        • Already by WWII we had artillery that could fire at out of site targets. A drone in a warfare setting is not that different. I don’t think Sanders or even the Republicans condone using drones as an assassination tool.

          • You don’t think Republicans condone using drones as an assassination tool? Perhaps you haven’t noted that our military has been using drones to bomb hospitals and weddings and any other target it pleases because our military has an obsession for killing innocent people without putting their own lives on the line. There appear to be no political or ideological boundaries regarding their use, which is why Clinton thinks she can just “order it up” on a whim to remove a pesky whistleblower getting too close to her crimes. The people around her may have squirmed a little, but they keep quiet if they want to keep their silly jobs.

I really despise Bush Jr. but he has not been in office for almost eight years. His people pancaked the Fallujah hospital with everyone in it. No regard for collateral damage and didn’t need drones to do it. That being said, whole last eight years of sniper drone warfare is on the Democrats. I used to thing the Democrats were the good guys. I admit I was really, really wrong about that.

Executive Order 12333 banning assassination as a covert tool was issued by Reagan.

We could start a 12 step program for liberal Democrats …..

Kind of like AA for serial killers.

          • why not just introduce them to all the torture techniques our empire uses by using it on them, same as all the republicans.

          • Ray Gun’s EO might as well have been signed with disappearing ink because no pays a bit of attention to it. I used to consider myself a Democrat too, “The Peace Party.” LOL. What fools. War, wanton destruction and covert genocide knows both political parties equally well, so pointing fingers at either of them is a useless waste of time. Everyone in any higher capacity in DC has sold their souls for power. All they care about is staying in the game long enough to make a shipload of money and then retire and lecture the rest of us how it’s our duty to fuel their game by voting, paying taxes, and funding their wars and Obamacare fiascos. I stopped aligning with any political party long ago and went right back to Peacenik where my heart has always been and will stay until my last breath.

“…. in a warfare setting ….” Ironic that we haven’t officially been at war, as proscribed by the constitution, for quite some time.

      • It’s hard to believe we never had a national conversation about the use of drones at all. They started using them and it just escalated from there. Then again there isn’t a national conversation about anything the “two parties” agree on. I note the lack of any conversation about peace.

        • You bet. It is an outrage this is getting a pass by the national news sources. I doubt this story will even get enough legs to get to Brietbart let alone Fox News.

    • you sure that she wont creep them out as more evil than them.

  3. What next Sheeple, Clinton murdered JFK and RFK and MLK?????

  4. Now you might understand why Assange sought diplomatic protection while in the UK. He certainly would not have been protected by Cameron’s government. They would have gladly stabbed him in the back for the benefit of the US, their master! What this incident shows us though is that Clinton is a nightmare come to life, a blot on the conscience of America. She is dangerous, immoral, unethical and criminal.

  5. Cant ISIS just use a Drone to eliminate this International Murdering Terrorist, Psychopath
and Megalomaniac. When it is legal for the Americans to murder and assassinate anyone in the world, them it must also be legal for ISIS, ISIL, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda or any other Terrorist Organisation to murder and assassinate anyone in America that is a Terrorist, murdering and killing people all over the world.

  6. Consider Hillary, WACO and drones. ‘nuf said.
