One half of the two-party political show kicked off in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18th with the Republican National Convention (RNC) and will wrap up on the 21st. The Democratic National Convention (DNC) will convene in Philadelphia, PA from July 25-28.
Activist Post journalist Derrick Broze will be attending both Conventions to document the militarization of the police, the protests, and to talk with the people on the streets.
The protests at the RNC were a bit of a let down compared to what was predicted, but there was still plenty of excitement on the streets. Below is the feed of video reports by Derrick beginning with his wrap-up and then into day one of the convention.
The clip below is from Day 1 of the RNC, Broze speaks to a Donald Trump supporter about why he supports Trump and whether there are other solutions outside of the two-party system. Videos from Days 2-3 at the RNC are updated below.
Broze also interviewed former Rage Against The Machine and current Prophets of Rage guitarist Tom Morello and B Real of Cypress Hill and Prophets of Rage.

Video reports of Day 3 of the RNC street protests being below. On Wednesday July 20, Broze spoke with a Fox News executive about the state of America and whether or not America is a proponent of fascism or defending the world against fascism.
Broze spoke with a couple of supporters of Donald Trump about why they support the candidate.

It always amazes me how Sharia LAW is not a conflict of interest with the constitution….it’s a LAW not a religion.
The religion is Islam, so they have that freedom….but they don’t get their own system of law. If they insist on Sharia law then they should stay in a country that is ruled by it.
