The anti-war movement was reenergized this week in Europe, as thousands of protesters demonstrated against bombing campaigns in Syria that have recently been suggested by governments in the NATO alliance. Most of the protests were centralized in London, England and Madrid, Spain, but other smaller protests took place in various other locations throughout Europe.
The US, UK and other NATO allied countries have been pushing for further intervention in Syria under the pretense of fighting ISIS. However, Western governments have proven that their primary interests in the region involve regime change, and ousting Syrian President Assad from power for their own interests. To make matters worse, the air strikes that have already taken place in the region have threatened the lives of innocent people, killing civilians more often than they kill terrorists.
Stop the War Coalition protest movement said in a statement that,
Prime Minister David Cameron’s incoherent proposals for action in Syria will do nothing to weaken ISIL, but will instead inflame the civil war, deepen the misery of the Syrian people, and increase the terrorist risk.
Sadly, there have been no large-scale protests of this nature in the US, despite the fact that the US military has been extremely active in the Middle East over the past two decades.
The following is footage from the protests in London.
The following is footage from he protests in Spain.

The propaganda is really coming out now.
So the spin is, the bombing of isis is killing innocent people. Sounds a lot like the us statement that bombing isis would make them stronger.
Are there really people this stupid that fall for the lies? They aren’t even good at it.
You know you are being effective when they cry like this.
GOOD! This kind of evil has always crumbled from the weight of it’s own corruption throughout history.
A decadent empire in its last days of decline.
Your comment is very confusing. The greatest losses in Syria have been civilians, both killed and displaced. The way to end the slaughter is to stop bombing. ISIS thrives on conflict.
The US is not saying bombing ISIS would make them stronger. The anti-war movement is making that claim.
I don’t follow your logic.
I’m glad.
Knowing your perception dale, it means my logic is sane.
You do not know my perception. Your comment is incoherent. Your logic is non-existent. You are not glad.
Problem is empire UN 10.0 (or whatever the final empire #) is designed to come after this is even more controlling – completely Orwellian.
BTW, different media outlets left, right, US, overseas, alt media, etc. are all providing a different take on what’s happening. The proles are getting the spin that ISIS is a big bad cunning foe that will require an international coalition to save the day. The UN is the nanny to step in.
Used the money which makes the war possible in order to form the protest. Then went home and did everything exactly the same. Sounds insane to me.
Protests against the Vietnam War,which were initially very unpopular, finally won over the public and led to an earlier end to the war, saving hundreds of thousands of lives.
Many on the right wanted to continue the war, and Bush, when asked, said we should have stayed and continued to fight. 3 million were slaughtered. The only way to stop more wars is to protest……those saying it doesn’t work ignore history.
The bombing that was done by the U.S. assisted ISIS to gain more territory and drive the indigenous from their homelands. The bombing that has been done by Russia since September has increasingly returned Syrian territory to Syrian control. Thus, stop the bombing by the U.S. and NATO allies, and continue the bombing by Russia.
Also, Erdogan of Turkey continues to steal oil from Syria and Iraq and supplies ISIS troops. He also attempted to spark a war with Russia by shooting down a Russian bomber, claiming it was inside Turkey. News from intelligence sources state that the airplane was 1 Kilometer inside Syria and the turkish F-16 had to swerve into Syria in order to fire the missile that shot down the Russian aircraft. Seems that the U.S. and NATO are using Erdogan & Turkey to continue their attempt to oust Assad and install a U.S. puppet, as usual. It would be useful to oust Turkey and the U.S. from NATO.
NATO was formed to defend against the Russian and Chinese communists. NATO should have been disbanded. A lot of things still don’t add up with the way Syria and Iran had been moving into the sphere of the NWO back in the 90s and “all in” in the last few years. Why were Israel and the US quietly providing sophisticated military parts and support (for fighter jets) to Iran for years which in turn was arming Syria? Two days ago, searching for international news on the “extremism” meme, I came across an article from Nov 20 about an area of Russia legally prosecuting Jehovah Witnesses for practicing a non authorized religion using an anti-extremist law enacted by Putin in 2002 expanded in 2007 to include all forms of nonviolent “extremism”. That’s exactly the language being used in the US and Europe, they are moving in lock step to create a totalitarian system. More n-dimensional chess.
NATO is Rothschilds thugs against anyone who disagrees with them.
And anyone they want to terrorize and control, including European citizens. NATO was behind the long running Operation Gladio false flag attacks in Europe which metastasized to Gladio B run mainly out of Turkey. They always fund both sides, the thug list includes Hitler, Bolsheviks, Soviets, China, Iraq under Hussein, etc.
Love Gatto, what a humble and wise beacon of light. The Richard Grove interview of Gatto is a must see, long but well worth it – highly informative. I think of Gatto’s words when I hear Pink Floyd’s Another Brick in The Wall. Most educators are well intentioned, the problem is a system that’s designed to dis-empower.
