Public health officials have been squaring off with anti-vaccination advocates in the wake of the recent measles outbreak that sickened dozens of Disneyland visitors. To stem the disease’s spread, California lawmakers have introduced new legislation mandating vaccinations for young children, but so-called ‘anti-vaxxers’ believe the move is an infringement of their most basic freedoms.
