Recently, his group produced two television commercials featuring testimony from two men who lost family members to gun violence. Anyone with a heart would sympathize with the victims and their families, and Bloomberg and his comrades know it. The ad campaign employs sneaky tactics and faulty logic to evoke emotion in the viewer.
Now the National Rifle Association is firing back with a round of ads of their own.
Here’s the first one:
The “Kim” ad is part of the NRA’s “Meet the Real Michael Bloomberg” campaign.
NRA spokesman Jennifer Baker explained the purpose of the campaign:
The men and women of the NRA will not allow Michael Bloomberg to use lies and millions of dollars in deceptive advertising to impose his extreme anti-freedom agenda on the American people. Our effort will expose Bloomberg as an arrogant hypocrite who wants to take away our rights. In this ad we are giving a voice to those who will be harmed by his agenda.
Kimberly has a powerful personal message that effectively exposes the lies and hypocrisy of Bloomberg’s $50 million campaign aimed at taking away Americans’ Second Amendment rights. To Michael Bloomberg this may be just a pet project to satisfy his enormous ego and control the lives of everyone around him, but to ordinary American citizens it has a very dangerous impact.
MeetBloomberg.com exposes the truth about Nanny B’s agenda and explains that he is now targeting women – especially mothers – via fear tactics. Remember, his group Silly Moms Demand Action has tried to force companies like Kroger to ban guns in their stores, with no success. They’ve also made fools of themselves by making ridiculous claims about open carry groups attempting to “intimidate” them.
Is it really a surprise that the narcissistic, I-know-what’s-best-for-you Bloomberg is targeting females? He has a long history of degrading and harassing women:
In 1996 and 1997, four women filed sexual harassment suits against Bloomberg LP. One of them, a sales executive named Sekiko Garrison, alleges that Michael Bloomberg told her to “Kill it!” when she shared with him that she was pregnant. Asked by Garrison to repeat himself, Bloomberg said again, “Kill it!”
In 2007, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit against Bloomberg LP on behalf of 78 women who claimed that Bloomberg—who at that point was not involved in the day-to-day company operations, despite being a majority shareholder—and Bloomberg LP “fostered, condoned and perpetuated” a hostile work environment for female employees.
Many quips and quotes from Bloomberg were compiled in a book that his staffers created. Here are two gems they attributed to him:
If women wanted to be appreciated for their brains, they’d go to the library instead of to Bloomingdale’s.
I know for a fact that any self-respecting woman who walks past a construction site and doesn’t get a whistle will turn around and walk past again and again until she does get one. (source)
Nice.
But hey, Nanny B knows more than the rest of us, right? Sometimes, our freedoms HAVE to be infringed upon, because we don’t know what is in our best interest.
Bloomberg is an elitist control freak who has accomplished nearly NOTHING to help reduce gun violence, despite investing millions for his crusade.
And, he has armed bodyguards to protect him. When asked about this astounding hypocrisy, Erika Soto Lamb, who is a spokesperson for Everytown for Gun Safety, replied with this:
Because people on your side of the debate threaten our lives. We’re not anti-gun. Why do you criticize our security?
Or, could it be that Nanny B thinks HIS life is worth protecting, but those of the common people are not?
