It’s Time for a Presidential Course Adjustment

Not being a political columnist, even though in the 1990s I wrote such a column for a local newspaper, I feel compelled to speak my mind out of concern for what seems to be a case of “the self-inflicted implosion of the USA.” Even though a majority of U.S. citizens have lost faith in President Obama and his ability to lead the country other than to destruction, which I will discuss later, no one seems to want to make a course adjustment when, in fact, we are in what constitutes a constitutional crisis on several levels.

Speaking plainly, the BS with its resulting splatters has hit the fan BIG time and we are in the headwinds of political self-destruction—plain and simple, even if no one is willing to own up to it. Why?

Well, let me explain the latest polling results, which indicate even though many people get what’s going on, we apparently are like deer in headlights—frozen, not knowing what to do next—especially those who ought to know better and should be taking the proverbial bull by the horns, the U.S. Congress!

There are too many Obama back-to-back issues that are aggregating strife on the international and home-ground levels that, if not addressed, will suck the U.S. into an inextricable situation of being either a Third-World-like country or, God forbid, over-lorded by the United Nations who will have taken it upon itself to intervene in the United States of America homeland affairs! It would seem that the U.N. and the USA are attached at the hip [1] regarding Economic Aspects,

Natural Resource Aspects, Institutional Aspects, Social Aspects, and probably military aspects since many foreign troops have been training on U.S. soil [2,3,4], plus the infamous U.N. Agenda 21 [5], which Congress approved!

Here’s a C-SPAN video that tells who was behind that resolution—Nancy Pelosi, the same individual who shoved the Affordable Care Act, aka ObamaCare, down the throats of members of U.S. House of Representatives.

Does protection of the global environment mean that U.S. skies constantly are to be sprayed with chemtrails to go along with “climate change” conditioning? [6] Furthermore, why did billionaire Bill Gates of Microsoft fame spend over $4.5 million on weather geoengineering research since 2007 along with spending many more millions that he’s put into vaccines for developing countries, plus his 500,000 Monsanto (the GMO food folks) stock portfolio valued at around $23 million? [7]

Quite frankly, what I don’t understand is: Why those who actively are doing things that may not be in the best interest of the planet and humankind are perceived as ‘do-gooders’? Bill Gates even beat out President Obama as the ‘most admired person in the world’? [8] That’s something not to be taken lightly or even seriously anymore, since Mr. Obama’s personality parade has been rained on big time in the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll. [9]

So, what is the average U.S. citizen thinking when it comes to Mr. Personality, Barack Hussein Obama? After all, didn’t everyone think that Barry would be the ‘savior’ of the USA and bail us out of all the problems President Bush created? If you haven’t noticed recently, Mr. Personality President got us and our future generations into debt to the tune of over $17.5 Trillion.

According to The Washington Times of October 9, 2013

When Mr. Obama became president in January 2009, the total federal debt stood at $10.6 trillion. This week, it hit $16.7 trillion — an increase of 57 percent. In the same time frame under President George W. Bush, total federal debt rose 38 percent. Under President Clinton, it rose 32 percent. [10] [CJF emphasis added]

As of June 18, 2014, the national debt is now $17.5 Trillion. [11] Someone is spending money, which we don’t have, like a drunken sailor! Almost $1Trillion more in only 8 months! How does that make readers regard Mr. Personality President?

Getting back to the NBC/WSJ poll taken from June 11 to 15, 2014, a shocking 54 percent believe Mr. Obama no longer can lead the country! Was he ever capable of leading the country since he was elected president with absolutely NO experience either in the business world or global politics with the exception of being a first term U.S. Senator (2005-2008) [12], a political organizer in crime-ridden Chicago, and a three-time winner in the Illinois state Senate elections (1997-2004) [13]. His sweet-talk apparently is capable of giving U.S. voters the ‘sugar blues’ since his ratings are dramatically low, even lower than his predecessor, George W. Bush!

According to the NBC/WSJ poll, President Obama stacks up lower as compared with President George W. Bush, whose administration Obama blamed for his administration’s problems.

In view of the above, I’d say it’s time for Congress to take action about correcting the collision course the ship of state is headed on. We certainly don’t need more embarrassing situations, compromises, or questionable negotiations taking place in White House strategy room(s), internationally, or financially. It’s reasonably apparent the present administration is ‘out to lunch’ on quite a few matters along with being caught with its pants on fire, as kids used to say, “Liar, liar, pants on fire!”

But, if readers, the media and Congress need more incentives as to why an immediate correction course needs to be taken, let’s revert back to the poll. A remarkable 57 percent disapprove of President Obama’s foreign policy handling—an all-time high!

Furthermore,

by a 44 percent-to-30 percent margin, Americans disagree with the Obama administration’s decision to secure the release of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five imprisoned Taliban fighters. [9]

54 percent think he is unable to lead the country and get the job done, compared with 42 percent who believe he can. [9]

With those kinds of approval or competency percentage ratings anywhere in the business world, heads would roll and there would be firings, probably at the top! Congress needs to take charge and stop pussy-footing around. After all, this country is run—or supposed to be run—on the “checks and balances system.” Let’s see some checks and balancing taking place before there’s nothing to save.

However, here’s the scary part according to the NBC/WSJ poll:

Only 32 percent of voters say their member of Congress deserves to be re-elected, compared with 57 percent who want to give a new person a chance. [9]

It would seem that the USA just may be ready to self-destruct: The president isn’t deemed capable of leading the country and/or the world; more than two-thirds of the Congress is thought of as needing to be replaced; and more than half the people want new blood in Congress. Wow!

So, what’s going to happen?

It is my opinion that President Obama, his administration and the current (113th) Congress are the epitome of the Peter Principle in action. If readers don’t know what the Peter Principle is, check out this:

An observation that in an organizational hierarchy, every employee will rise or get promoted to his or her level of incompetence. [15]

Here’s one of President Obama’s former supporters, Carey Wedler, talking about what she’s come to understand about the person whom she thought would be making a historical change.

Carey is not short on words about how she feels now about Mr. Obama’s apparent disappointing tenure in office, plus her disgust when she found out the facts about government, along with the burning of her “Obama Tee Shirt” video.

Carey ends the video with:

I would rather spread love and peace and freedom and help people understand that this government, that you’re currently at the head of – but it doesn’t really matter who it is – is strictly violative and doesn’t do anything to help them, it only restricts the potential of humanity – and that’s what I’d like to share.
