Minutes after the attacks of September 11, 2001 the American public, and soon after, the entire world, were swept up in a whirlwind of deception, outright lies, and an endless fear campaign that continues until this day. The media and the government wasted no time assigning the people their latest boogeyman. We were promised by giving up our essential liberties and agreeing to accept a global war that we would be safe.
Obviously there are still crimes and dangers in our world today. The growing threat of terrorism is indeed a real one. Terrorism spawned by the United States government and military’s relentless assault on free people around the globe. All in the name of spreading freedom and some twisted sense of democracy.
It is not only that the years after 9/11 were filled with fear but that the fear of 9/11 itself has been used time and time again to push through legislation, such as the PATRIOT Act, that strip away freedoms in the name of security. Most recently Al Jazeera reported that the National Security Agency instructs officials to refer to the events of 9/11 in an attempt to justify the massive spying by the agency and quiet any critics.
An internal NSA document, discovered by Al Jazeera via Freedom of Information Act request, positions 9/11 at the top of a list of talking points to be used by NSA officials in response to questions regarding programs originating from leaks by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.
Under the section “Sound Bites That Resonate” NSA officials are asked to to read, “I much prefer to be here today explaining these programs, than explaining another 9/11 event that we were not able to prevent.”
Under a section titled “Media Leaks One Card” it reads:
“NSA AND ITS PARTNERS MUST MAKE SURE WE CONNECT THE DOTS SO THAT THE NATION IS NEVER ATTACKED AGAIN LIKE IT WAS ON 9/11”
The entire document serves to justify the expansion of police state and surveillance state measures that expand daily throughout the United States. Of course, using 9/11 as a fear tactic is nothing new. In Houston, Sheila Jackson Lee often uses the official story of 9/11 as a talking point to bring in more TSA employees to the airports, buses, and trains. In 2011 she said if we remove the TSA from airports, “we are looking forward to returning to 9/11.”
Former NSA director John “Mike” McMconnell, who served as director of the National Security Agency under President Clinton and then as director of national intelligence under George W. Bush and President Obama, was quoted as saying, “”We have had our 9/11 warning. Are we going to wait for the cyber equivalent of the collapse of the World Trade Centers?”.
Is it possible to turn this tide of fear based rhetoric and constant paranoia programming? Can we as sovereign, free, beautiful, individual human beings connect with others without promoting more division and instability?
With 9/11 that seems to be the case. As much 9/11 propaganda as Americans have had to endure over the past twelve years, there are a growing number of cracks in the Matrix. According to a recent national poll nearly 1 out of every 2 people surveyed were unaware that a third building, World Trade Center Building 7, fell on September 11, 2001 despite not being hit by an airplane. The survey was carried out online between August 27th and 29th of this year by the online firm YouGov.
Of the 1194 adults surveyed, 38% of Americans have doubts about the official account of 9/11, and 46% were not aware that a third tower collapsed on 9/11. After being shown video footage of Building 7’s collapse 46% suspect that the building was brought down by controlled demolition and 41% support a new investigation of Building 7’s collapse.
This trend continues in Canada where YouGov found that 36% of Canadians would support an international body to investigate the events while 30% neither support nor oppose an investigation, and 27% oppose the investigation.
So if more than a decade of insecurity driven attempts at mind manipulation have failed, what else is possible? Can we help our brothers and sisters find new awareness regarding the dangers of poisons in the water, food and air? Will we finally unite and recognize the banksters as the enemy to economic freedom? Perhaps we may even see the day where wars of aggression and crimes against humanity are no longer tolerated as long as the nation committing them is currently in power.
The future is being written by what we do in the now. The present moment endlessly provides new opportunity for changing our mind, heart and experience. For too long many of us have allowed ourselves to be guided by fear. Whether it is the fear of terrorist attack, or the fear of being different, you may find yourself paralyzed by this most crippling emotion. The Ruling Class understands that by spreading fear through their think tanks, governments, and media centers they can instill a frequency of disharmony among the masses. From this less than balanced state, it is only too easy to manipulate an individual.
By controlling the individual the Elite can subtly control entire populations. In this same vein, it is the individual who can free entire populations. Recognize your own power, and take it back. Use a healthy amount of awareness in regard to fear to become ever more conscious of your situation and the solutions available. When we take steps to live more freely everyday we inspire others. This inspiration spreads faster than any fear based paradigm could hope.
It is the light, the knowledge, the potential within each of us that continues to rise that allows us to see through the Matrix. As humanity continues its wake from slumber we will only see more of the truth that has been hidden for so long. By choosing to address our own personal fears and insecurities we can achieve a mental state of freedom that extends to the physical and those around us. This is the true path to freedom and the beginning of a new paradigm based on compassion, respect, mutual aid, and peaceful voluntary interactions.
