Why is the government telling people that it is safe to shoot themselves up with toxic waste?
According to a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) press release, a $9 million clean-up plan is set to begin at a mercury reclamation facility dubbed the Mercury Refining Superfund Site in the towns of Colonie and Guilderland, New York.
Previous unsafe waste disposal activities contaminated soils and storm water runoff allowed mercury to seep into local Patroon Creek, poisoning local wildlife and the environment and posing grave danger to anyone who might come in contact with it. The release goes on to note: “Exposure to mercury can damage people’s nervous systems and harm the brain, heart, kidneys, lungs and immune systems.”
EPA Regional Administrator Judith A. Enck goes on to say, “Mercury is a strong neurotoxin that can damage the nervous system and cause other health and environmental problems. The EPA has insured that this waste site will be cleaned up and that the taxpayers will not bear the burden of addressing this legacy of toxic contamination.”
So, how is it that the EPA openly admits mercury is toxic, and it can damage all manor of systems in your body — nervous, cardiovascular, excretory, respiratory and immune systems — but somehow it is perfectly okay to inject the mercury preservative Thimerosal into people including babies with vulnerable blood-brain barriers?
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) claims Thimerosal is safe, even though multiple court cases across the country have quietly resulted in large payouts to families whose children were found to have been brain damaged by vaccine ingredients including the mercury adjuvant.
It is a well-known fact that multi-dose flu vaccines contain Thimerosal, and those vaccines are reportedly labeled as “safe” for babies six months and older and even pregnant women. The logic that a developing fetus can be exposed to something in vitro that is unsafe for a baby under six months of age has yet to be fully explained in a way that makes actual sense. In fact, there are lingering questions as to whether or not the CDC falsified flu vaccine safety standards by ignoring 3,587 miscarriages reported shortly after flu vaccines were administered to pregnant women.
Just last December, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) called for keeping mercury-laden Thimerosal in vaccines based on recommendations released by a United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) committee. This committee, in turn, based its endorsement of Thimerosal on research primarily led by so-called vaccine expert Dr. Michael Pichichero, who has conducted numerous studies on vaccine mercury including a 2002 study “Mercury concentrations and metabolism in infants receiving vaccines containing Thiomersal.”
Dr. Pichichero, however, has multiple conflicts of interest, starting with the fact that he has received financial backing from pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly & Co., the creator of Thimerosal. Pichichero has actually taken grant money from nearly every Big Pharma company out there, including Merck, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Sqibb Company, Pasteur Merieux Connaught, Roche Laboratories, SmithKline Beecham, Wyeth-Lederle and others.
The logic we are fed on why injecting ourselves and our children with mercury is safe is that Thimerosal is made from ethyl mercury, which has a shorter half-life in the blood than its supposedly much more hazardous sister methyl mercury.
This assertion goes against all logic and common sense. A 1985 comparative toxicology study found rats treated with both types of mercury showed little difference in neurotoxicity, and worse, those treated with ethyl mercury actually suffered more widespread damage. Both methyl and ethyl mercury were given to monkeys in a more recent 2005 study on brain concentrations of these compounds; those dosed with ethyl mercury were found to have double the levels of inorganic mercury in their brains. Researchers noted, “Inorganic mercury remains in the brain much longer than organic mercury, with an estimated half-life of more than a year” but the study added, “It’s not currently known whether inorganic mercury presents any risk to the developing brain.”
It’s not known? Hm. Inorganic mercury polluting a tiny infant’s developing brain, accumulating and remaining there for over a year, but it’s not known if that’s a bad thing? What do you think?
As I previously reported, the AAP, by the way, is the same organization which claimed there are no health benefits gained from feeding our children organic food over conventional because, ahem, “the needed long-term studies do not yet exist to show that eating pesticide-free food makes people healthier.”
You read that right — because there are no long-term studies to tell you eating pesticide-free food is healthier for you, that means it isn’t. Common sense, anyone?
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) ranks Thimerosal a ten — or high hazard — on a one-to-ten hazard scale. This is the highest possible health hazard ranking EWG bestows on a substance. Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources has even noted that discarded vaccines preserved with 0.01% Thimerosal exceed regulatory levels for hazardous waste toxicity, thus:
According to state and federal hazardous waste management requirements, discarded Thimerosal-preserved vaccines may need to be managed as hazardous waste.
Why should anyone dose themselves or their children with a Thimerosal vaccine that is considered a hazardous waste when discarded by our own state and federal regulations? How does shooting mercury directly into your body where it accumulates in your brain magically transform its status from a hazardous waste to safe?
Think about it.
