What David Icke Has Meant To Me: Writing Contest

They say “when the student is ready the teacher will (magically) appear.” And so it was for me. (That old Buddhist proverb is true!)

Back in 1999 I was at a Borders bookstore and happened upon one of David Icke’s books: And the Truth Shall Set You Free (Boy did it ever!) Well, simply put, it was the most amazing thing I had ever read. I wanted to read more….

Since I was a teen, growing up, I always knew in the back of my mind that something in the world was not quite right. Watching the “news” and hearing things… Everyone seemed to have their own opinions. Let me tell you that “ignorance is NOT bliss”. Definitely not!

So it went , until 1999 and that first book. David Icke (out of the blue) seemed to answer many of my questions, tell it all and then tie it all up for me in just that one book (let alone all the others he has written since) and the journey it has put me on. David’s writings were not that hard to believe. I just kept reading his books :

I was also happy to discover the David Icke website!

There definitely is a global conspiracy. These books name names, dates, places and events which occur and have occurred throughout history. Needless to say I just read and read and reread! If I came across something I was not sure of, I just kept it on the backburner until I was certain of it. Wow, some pretty astonishing and yes, life-changing material. Talk about ‘awakening?!’ You will never look at things in the same way again.

So, I told three of my closest friends of my discoveries per David Icke, his hard work and research. Was I believed, tolerated, deemed crazy? I didn’t know, only that I had to tell someone. Seems now they believe, seeing the way the world is going. As David says: “just connect the dots and it all makes sense.”

As for my personal feeling about the 2012 Mayan apocalypse. I do NOT think it will be the end of the world. I DO think the Illuminati will want us to believe it is. Also, I believe this is the year that the Illuminati wish to have everything “set up” to implement their New World Order plans. Will they succeed? I hope not; but really I don’t know. This saddens me greatly.

I could go on and on,,, but I just want to say from my heart that I THANK David Icke for all he has done; and I really do mean that! At the risk of sounding “cheesy” David is my hero and I hope he is safe from all the evil that there is in this world.

Also I would like to mention that I did have the great privilege of hearing David Icke speak when he was in Cleveland, Ohio last November. Many people were there from all over the U.S. People cheered, clapped and gave him a standing ovation. He definitely deserves it. It made me happy that there ARE people out searching for the truth via David Icke. Appreciation, loyalty, admiration, trust and respect are indeed yours dear David Icke.

So here’s to you: DAVID ICKE.
