Friend and Real Newsman Don Harkins died 2 years ago today; Dont ever forget him! (Last Interview, Jack Blood)

Even the date seems like a sign (9s and 11s). Don Harkins was an invaluable asset to the truth. He co published his great hard copy newspaper, the Idaho Observer, at his own expense with his wife Ingri, and friends. I was honored to have had articles printed in such a fine example of REAL Journalism in America.

Don shocked us all by passing on this day in 2009. He was not always in the best health (like so many of us that put our work before ourselves) but I don’t think anyone expected him to die so young. He was only 46, and we are the same age (almost to the day). Don was told by doctors that he had “Acute Myeloid Leukemia” (ALM) but what we heard was that every time he went to the hospital he got worse! (Listen to the interview below done just about 6 weeks before he passed. Tell me if you think it sounds like a man who was about to die.) My Opinion: It was death resulting from radiation to kill alleged “Cancer” cells, caused by “assassination by radiation”.

Don even did all that with a smile on his face, working til the end. Just before he died, Don and Co. were working on something that was extremely controversial, and important to us all.

That was the existence of a plot to initiate a global pandemic via militarized bio warfare, which would be blamed on “Birds” “Pigs” or “Terrorists”. This would mandate quarantines, martial law, and forced (killer) vaccinations. His evidence made the most sense to me. Since then the writing has been put on the wall for all to see, yet the story seems to be largely overlooked. I think if Don was still with us, it would be a bigger story, and thus, less probable to happen.

I remember once when Don asked to reprint one of my articles telling me that I was the only one covering that story who had the “Who, what, why, where, when, and hows” aspects of that issue. I never thought about stuff like that, but Don did. That’s why his paper was the best out there, and one of the first of it’s kind. If you didn’t keep up with the news, you could read the I.O. and get right up to speed. What you read in IO you could take to the bank! It couldn’t be “deleted”.

After a decade or more of doing alternative news, I have found that all the real journalists either get disappeared, jailed, or killed. I have also found that when these things happen, those that depend on these real newsmen and woman too easily forget what they’ve lost. There is always someone who wants to take their place. This is why most alt news is vacant, and sensational now.

Don Harkins was one of a kind. He cannot ever be truly replaced. He would agree when I say to you… Cherish what you have NOW. Support those who work and sacrifice to keep you informed.
