Once again, liberals and Democrats demonstrate they are clueless about how establishment politics work in America. Once again, they display their ignorance of the false right-left paradigm that controls the corporate media political realm, including the supposedly sterling liberal reputation of the Huffington Post.
“Socialite Arianna Huffington built a blog-empire on the backs of thousands of citizen journalists,” a post at the liberal site Adbusters complains. “She exploited our idealism and let us labor under the illusion that the Huffington Post was different, independent and leftist. Now she’s cashed in and three thousand indie bloggers find themselves working for a megacorp.”
Earlier this week it was announced AOL will buy the website. The Huffington Post reportedly has a combined base of 117 million unique visitors a month in the United States and 270 million around the world. The former conservative commentator Arianna Huffington will act as Editor-in-Chief of the Huffington Post Media Group. She will merge AOL’s corporate entertainment and media content into the Post and then pawn it off on liberals.
Defiant lefties say they will abandon the site and build another one. If so, they should be careful not to cede control to a shameless corporate media personality like Arianna Huffington who will sell them down the river when the big boys come a knocking with fistfuls of cash and stock options.
Liberals need to finally realize we are governed by a Democrat-Republican duopoly that takes orders from a clique of international banksters.
It is hardly a mistake or an oversight the financial elite dominates the so-called Left through foundations. The Ford, Soros, Rockefeller, Carnegie, Schuman, Pacifica foundations and the National Endowment for Democracy – the CIA, at the behest of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, and offshore banksters – controls Left media and its supposedly progressive message, not irate bloggers given the shaft by Arianna Huffington.
The message pumped out daily by a compromised corporate Left media is a message vetted by dedicated corporate globalizers at the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization, and their multitudinous foundations, NGOs, and front organizations.
Libs love to hate the late Gary Allen, author of None Dare Call It Conspiracy, but they should do a serious retake if they are sincerely interested in understanding what happened to their beloved HuffPo, finally revealed as a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
“If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of superrich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all,” he wrote. “Instead it becomes the logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism, or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.”
As the late George Carlin quipped, they own you. But it does not have to be that way. If the readers of the Huffington Post refuse to accept the corporate transition and stop visiting the website, the Huntington Post will ultimately dry up and blow away. AOL will pull the plug and move on to the next corporate acquisition and “socialite” (not activist) Arianna Huffington will retire to Greece, from whence she came.
