Fox News on Cell Phone Radiation, Telecoms Advertising Unsafe Use of Phones, Lawsuits and FCC Nonsense

Nothing reported in this segment is breaking news – including the smartphone class action lawsuits.  It still serves as a good reminder that cell phone radiation isn’t harmless even though it’s being promoted that way by many sources including the Federal Communications Commission (FCC ) (see 1, 2).

Many studies have determined exposure does more than increase cancer risk (see 1, 2).  A recent one indicates that cell phone radiation leads to memory damage in teens.  This isn’t all that surprising – other research has also indicated memory damage from exposure.  Research has also shown that cell phone radiation disrupts the blood-brain barrier which can cause it to leak.  That may explain the memory impairment.

American federal scientists have admitted to reducing their exposure because of damning research.  For many years now American Academy of Pediatrics and other health experts have been warning that children are more vulnerable to harm from exposure because they are smaller and their skulls are thinner.  In fact, no “safe” level of radiation has been scientifically determined for children or pregnant women.

Tech insiders have been limiting their own kids’ use of phones all along – other parents not so much.  Many kids are provided with cell phones and other wireless tech at a young age, keep them within close proximity 24/7, including while they sleep.
