US ranks last on key health care measures compared with other high-income nations, despite spending the most, report says 9/19/24. New poll shows jump in adults who rate the quality of US health care as ‘poor’ reported on 1/10/23: “Nearly half of adults said that the system has “major problems.” Another one in five adults said that US health care is in a “state of crisis,” the largest share in about a decade.”
How Big Ag/Big Pharma Keep America Sick explains that Americans spend an average of $12,555 per person on health care annually according to the Peterson-KFF Health Care Tracker. By comparison, typical health care spending across other developed nations is about $6,651. However, Americans are the sickest, fattest, unhealthiest population. The US ranks high in infant mortality and ranks low in life expectancy compared to other industrialized nations. This shows that the American approach to healthcare is not working.

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. embodies fitness, continuing the legacy started by his uncle President John Kennedy.. Kennedy does push-ups, chin-ups, skiing, surfing, sailing, white-water rafting, etc. and is an inspiration for other Americans to shape up. For his 70th birthday on 1/17/24, Kennedy went surfing in Hawaii with Kelly Slater, considered the greatest surfer of all time. Slater holds nearly every significant record in the sport with 11 world titles, 55 event victories, and the record for being both the youngest and oldest men’s world champion. Slater claimed his first world title as a 20-year-old in 1992, and won his last at 39 in 2011.
Oliver Anthony: Rich Men North of Richmond explains that Oliver Anthony’s song “Rich Men North of Richmond” made its debut on August 8. The song, posted to Anthony’s X profile (formerly Twitter) on August 10 became an immediate hit among conservatives and attracted nearly 30,000 reposts and 140,000 likes. By August 17, the song had gotten over 18 million views on YouTube! Before August 8, few people had heard of Oliver Anthony and suddenly he had the #1 song in America, top of the charts in the country, which is also listened to around the world!
RFK Jr’s Collaboration With Oliver Anthony shows that while many people were discussing Anthony’s message, Kennedy responded to his plaintiff cry to help America heal now. Kennedy’s plan is designed to address the concerns raised by Anthony in what is being called by some “the anthem for this moment in history”. RFK Jr. says Anthony is partnering with him now on this initiative. Both Kennedy and Anthony are very open about being recovering addicts. Dr. Mark Hyman points out to Kennedy that the health crisis in America is now a national emergency that must be addressed urgently on multiple fronts.
Oliver Anthony and RFK Jr. agree that America needs a peaceful revolution now.
“If we continue on the path we’re going down now, culturally, we won’t have a country very long. Five years? Fifty years I don’t know,” Anthony said. “I mean, I don’t see our country lasting more than another generation the way we’re headed. We gotta go back to the roots of what made this country great in the first place, which was our sense of community.”
