Another City Passes Resolution to Stop 5G Deployment until There is Proof of Safety

Warnings about 5G have been ongoing since before its widespread deployment and activation.  Since 2017, doctors and scientists have been asking for moratoriums on Earth and in space due to biological and environmental health risks (see 1, 2, 3, 4) and the majority of scientists worldwide oppose deployment.  Of course, research has determined that 5G is indeed biologically and environmentally harmful.  Adding insult to injury, in 2019 telecom executives gave U.S. congressional testimony that they had NO independent scientific evidence that 5G is safe.

Opposition to 5G has limited, slowed, and/or stopped deployment but obviously not everywhere, hence more people reporting symptoms and illnesses after activation.  Case studies have been published to document this as well.  Kudos to another city in Argentina for taking action to stop deployment.

Another City in Argentina Resolves to Halt 5G until Safety is Assured

Ushuaia, Argentina joined  Commune of Lechmann (Santa Fe), Azul (Buenos Aires) and Capilla del Monte (Córdoba), resolving not to enable the installation of 5G antennas until they have precise information that the radiation will not impact the health of the community.

Information from Ushuaia prohibits the installation of 5G antennas in the city; joins three other national municipalities (translated from Spanish) 

The city of Ushuaia, in Tierra del Fuego promulgated ordinance 6317, sanctioned by the Deliberative Council on December 6, which establishes the city as a “zone free of radiation from the communications technology of fifth generation (5G) and all data transmission technology of subsequent generations,” states the text accessed by Télam.

The initiative was promoted by members of the group Organized Citizens to Regulate Telecommunications (CORTE), which has representatives in Tierra del Fuego. The rule prohibits 5G “until medical, scientific and epidemiological studies are presented that demonstrate the total harmlessness of these radiations.”

It also mentions that the studies which will be presented in the future to repeal the ordinance, must be “supported by the non-opposing recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Commission on the Biological Effects of the Fields Electromagnetic (ICBE-EMF) and the Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA) of the European Parliament.

According to the measure, the municipality “ will not issue any type of work, installation or similar authorization for the deployment of the technology ” due to the “precautionary principle in matters of health and environment.”

The Corte association documented during the legislative debate that several municipal states in the world sanctioned similar ordinances, and that in Argentina there are similar regulations “in the Commune of Lechmann (Santa Fe), Gualeguaychú (Entre Ríos), Azul (Buenos Aires) and Capilla del Monte (Córdoba) ”. In the case of Gualeguaychú, the rule was reversed a week ago , and the municipality will be able to incorporate 5G antennas.

“It’s not that we want to prohibit progress. There are many people who do not understand that this technology was not tested and that it has already caused problems in some places,” said Alejandra Guerrero, member of Corte in Tierra del Fuego. The leader announced that a similar project was presented to the Deliberative Council of the city of Río Grande, in the north of the province, and is “under analysis.”
