How the Body Reacts to EMFs and Smart Meters: We Can Now See How We Are Breaking Our Hearts (and Heads) and We Can Stop

During the Obama administration, the United States and other countries had an opportunity to respond to the early warnings regarding so-called clean energy and wireless technologies.

We didn’t.

But now we can, and we should. Right now.

Late Lessons from Early Warnings

The European Environment Agency has compiled several volumes of case studies of early warnings “covering a diverse range of chemical and technological innovations and highlighting a number of systemic problems. The ‘Late Lessons Project’ illustrates how damaging and costly the misuse or neglect of the precautionary principle can be, using case studies and a synthesis of the lessons to be learned and applied to maximizing innovations whilst minimizing harms.”

Several of the recommendations are pertinent to the opportunity that exists now, to re-evaluate smart metering and other wireless technologies, especially as they pertain to “sustainability:”

  • Acknowledge and respond to ignorance, as well as uncertainty and risk, in technology appraisal and public policy-making.
  • Provide adequate long-term environmental and health monitoring and research into early warnings.
  • Identify and work to reduce ‘blind spots’ and gaps in scientific knowledge.
  • Ensure that real world conditions are adequately accounted for in regulatory appraisal.
  • Systematically scrutinize the claimed justifications and benefits alongside the potential risks.
  • Maintain the regulatory independence of interested parties while retaining an inclusive approach to information and opinion gathering.

The Smart Meter Storm

In case readers were not following the story, Hurricane Sandy was the deadliest and most destructive storm of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, impacting the entire Eastern seaboard.  The storm was one factor that fueled the narrative about ‘smart’ meters and a ‘smart’ grid.

Disaster capitalism created a story that investing in a two-way wirelessly connected electric grid would result in a more ‘robust’ and reliable electricity supply and help defend against ‘climate change.’

The narrative simultaneously did two things, – it pointed the public towards technology and engineering as a ‘solution,’ and to ‘climate’ as a perpetrator to be feared, fostering alienation and separation from the ecosystem of which we are a part.

Reliable” vs. “Resilient

It wasn’t the case that the meters made electricity more ‘reliable,’ as repeatedly demonstrated in Maine. For example, see “October Windstorm Took Down CMP’s $200M Smart Meter Network.” Yet the narrative of Man-over-Nature via Tech endures.

The industry eventually replaced the reliability claim. Instead, smart meters made the grid “more resilient.”

Solar Wars

The environmental community bought into and promoted the idea that the ‘smart’ meters were necessary in order to integrate solar and other renewables into the grid.

Solar wars followed whereby the utilities enacted policies that opposed solar, after the meters were installed. As Bill Ellard of the American Solar Energy Society explained, “The three battles are net metering, tariff reform, and grid defection.”

Time-of-Use Billing

Many consumers are not aware of the implications of net metering and time-of-use billing — enabled by “smart” meters.  With net metering, utilities could compensate a solar-producing-household at very low rate, and then charge the customer an exorbitant rate when they needed to draw electricity from the grid.

With time-of-use billing, smart meters enable penalizing customers for using electricity at certain times of day (discriminating against third shift workers or stay-at-home individuals.)

Demand Charges

Another industry tactic is imposing demand charges like those that were authorized in Massachusetts for solar customers.  Bill Ellart noted, “Typically, demand charges are applied to commercial and industrial customers only. This charge is based on the highest 15-minute interval of electricity use during the month’s billing period. These charges can be up to 70% of a customer bill.”

A customer’s bill for the month can be based upon the 15-minute period when they consume the most electricity, for example, running the dishwasher, laundry, and vacuum at the same time.

The scenario unfolds in the homes of countless low-income seniors and disabled individuals served by a home health aide, every week, in every state.

Electric Vehicle Charging (and Fires)

Utilities and regulators were concerned about the prospect of having hundreds of electric vehicle owners coming home at 7 pm to change their vehicles right after work, perhaps while also running a swimming pool pump and heater, and central air conditioning. (Note that energy savings based on time-of-use billing benefits higher income groups consuming more power.)

In order to not overload the grid, EV customers were encouraged to charge their vehicles overnight, resulting in a more dangerous fire risk scenario.

But rather than managing just one aspect of electricity consumption, EV charging, the choice was made to invest in a surveillance and control grid for all customers, justified by the climate change narrative about supporting renewables and clean energy, as well as economic stimulus.

The utilities say that time-of-use billing offers savings opportunities for all customers. In truth, increased rates to pay for the meters are passed on to all customers, including, for example, a participant in the controversial Worcester National Grid pilot program whose only consumption was a refrigerator that contained necessary medication.

Rather than examining all of the issues inherent to EVs, including mining, battery disposal, and fires, the clean energy community has continued to push for EV expansion, without considering other alternatives, including public transportation.

The alternative of launching an educational campaign informing customers about how to more skillfully conserve energy (for example, Clare Donegan’s suggestion – Can it Wait till 8 pm?) doesn’t seem to have been considered. Or, for example, providing guidance on whether it is better to use an electric kettle or a gas stove to heat water for tea.

Smart meters do not necessarily decrease consumption, but only change the pattern of consumption, via price points that always discriminate against certain classes of customers and increase earnings.

The industry is caught between the priority to provide a return on investment, vs. providing safe and reliable access to an essential service at a reasonable price.

Policy decisions have favored economic growth over human rights, safety, and sustainability.

Deploying Meters and Charging Ratepayers

Despite holes in the narrative, utility regulators approved passing the cost of the new meters onto ratepayers in full scale deployments. In-service meters were disposed of before the end of their useful life, and as the new meters were installed, ratepayers saw their bills rising, not dropping, even though the meters were supposed to result in cost and energy savings.

Privacy invasion, green-washing, fire risks, cost, lack of security, planned obsolescence, and safety concerns were overrun by a clean energy community partnered with investor-owned utilities, believing that their actions were justified by the need to address the climate emergency.

The Remote Off-Switch

Utilities favor the ability to remotely shut power off to a premises in the case of a move-out, or non-payment, rather than sending a technician.  The clean energy community is enamored with statistics about decreased truck rolls.

The remote off-switch is presented as justification that the meters decrease consumption of greenhouse gases.

But the carbon footprint of the planned obsolescence, whereby all meters would need to be replaced every 7 years, was not weighed against the number of times that the remote off switch would be employed.

Hacking

More importantly, the remote off switch presents a very real hacking vulnerability.

There are many reasons not to support smart metering.

But most important is that when wireless smart utility meters began to be installed across the country, there were immediate reports of harm to a portion of the population, including the acute onset of profoundly life-altering disability.

We should have stopped deploying immediately, and investigated and refined the science that underlies wireless technologies’ safety assumptions, because people were being hurt, as chronicled by groups including Stop Smart Meters and the EMF Safety Network.

But the industry and its partners dismissed, marginalized, and suppressed reported harm.

Citizen Science

In the absence of appropriate independent research and pre-market safety testing, many earnest individuals began to invest their own time and resources into documenting harmful impacts of smart metering technologies.

From Arizona, “The EI Wellspring,Practical Information for Coping with Chemical and Electrical Hypersensitivity” has produced an explanation of the various types of meters and their risks..

Paul Harding of Total EMF Solutions in Arizona told his story about sleep interruption, which could easily be correlated with exposures. ”When the Arizona utility company came to install a new digital, wireless electronic meter on Paul Harding’s home 10 years ago, he welcomed it, because he thought that it would enable him to save money. (For those who are not aware, smart utility meters enable time-of-use billing, with peak, off-peak, and other rate schemes, including pre-pay.) Then, the next morning, he was awoken abruptly at 3:12-3:15 am, “from a dead sleep to 100 MPH. ”When it happened again at the exact same time the next morning, not sleeping, with the smart meter mounted 3 feet from his head, Paul got up and took out his computer. He typed in a search for “smart meter sleep problems.” His story is here.

EKG Proof That “Smart” Meters Affect the Human Heart: Warren Woodward

Warren Woodward wrote, In EKG Proof That “Smart” Meters Affect the Human Heart” you will see me connected to an EKG monitor while resting near an Elster brand “smart” meter of the type used by APS here in Arizona. When the “smart” meter transmits, the EKG shows that my heart rhythm is interrupted. Looking at the results of the EKG is startling. We now know that even if people are not showing outward symptoms, their bodies are being unnecessarily and involuntarily stressed by “smart” meters.”

Proof of the Pericardium Meridian – Chinese Medicine

As reported by USSN World News, “a study published by Harvard Medical School confirmed the existence of the “pericardium meridian,” one of the 12 meridians.

The study can put an end to the assumption that radio frequencies only cause harm via heating.

And as the West begins to understand the electromagnetic properties of the Meridian System of Oriental Medicine, the process underlying the harm being caused by wireless and powerline smart meters, for both the brain and the heart, is apparent.

We are electrical beings, and our electrical balance can be disrupted, irrelevant to the measurement of body temperature, Or, more accurately, irrelevant to the practice of taking the measurement of an engineering model dummy lacking a brain and a heart.

See; Home – We Are Not SAM

USSN news reported, “The meridians are invisible to the naked eye, so conventional Western medicine still holds reservations about their existence.”

“In the study, 15 healthy volunteers were recruited, and two Chinese physicians marked the pathways and acupuncture points of the pericardium meridian on their hands and arms and used a low resistance detector for further confirmation. Afterwards, they injected fluorescein into the volunteers’ pericardium meridians and observed the direction of the fluorescein’s movement with a special camera.

The scientists were surprised to find that after the volunteers were injected with fluorescein in the Neiguan (PC-6) point on their wrists, over time, fluorescent lines appeared on most of their arms. These “glowing lines” spread along their arms, all the way to the bend of their elbows. The path of this line is precisely the path of the pericardium meridian.”

Now that we can see them, we can also seek to understand at what the Chinese seers knew about the Meridian pathway capabilities, including acting as bodyguards for the brain and the heart.

Mercenary Science vs. Meridians

Instead of conducting real premarket safety testing, the smart meter industry employed mercenary tobacco scientists to debunk citizen health complaints, even at the Federal level.

It is not surprising to see tobacco industry tactics being used to justify smart meters.  The industry employed mercenary scientists who literally work for the tobacco industry to address mounting health concerns and complaints, including testimony to the National Council of State Legislators. Phillip Morris cigarette’s Peter Valberg of Gradient served as the spokesperson and health and safety expert for many organizations and state proceedings.

He was featured in the 2016 investigative series Science for Sale by the Center for Public Integrity.

One of the articles describes his attempt to shift the blame for mesothelioma to tobacco to defend the asbestos industry. The lawyer he was collaborating with for this unethical effort was fired from his firm.

Another article referenced Valberg’s role in discounting the significance of 33 individuals in McCollum Lake who developed brain tumors as the result of chemical dumping by Dow.

Here is What We Will Find When We Do the Right Research, {instead of decision-based evidence making)

When the Paul Hardings across the country report that they are being unnaturally awoken at 3:15 am and going from 0 to 100 MPH, we will find that the Pericardium meridian is becoming activated, The energy pathway’s intelligence is contracting the pericardium sac in order to brace and protect the heart.  The energy is manifesting as a shock absorber in the presence of perceived danger.

When the Warren Woodwards across the country are reporting that they are experiencing alterations in the heart rate in the presence of transmissions from a wireless meters, we will find that the Pericardium is engaging, in an attempt to protect the heart.

Over time, these exposures will be correlated, accurately, with damage to the cardio-vascular and neurological and glandular systems.

The canaries have been describing this damage for over a decade.

We will find that the Meridian System, which is an essential component of the circadian rhythm and energetic immunity, is being hijacked by artificial man-made frequencies.

The risks of charging an EV at night pale compared to the damage being inflicted by late night data dumps and sudden random exposures to bursts of pulsed microwave radiation.

Real world citizen science can now take precedence over the weaponization of research.

For example, the study that implies that inanimate modeling of tissue proves that 5G frequencies “vanish” before they reach the “brain layer” will be rejected.

The brain knows what is happening at the skin level. The body is an intelligent, resonant energy field,

Our bodies are far more intelligent, interconnected, aware, coherent, and powerful that we have ever imagined, and they have been sounding the alarm for decades about our willful blindness and arrogance in believing that we can dominate the airwaves with polluting frequencies. We have gone too far.

As recently reported in testimony before the Rhode Island Public Utilites Commission, “Regulators in lock step with utilities have confined the health debate to the question of opt outs and surcharges, which is unrealistic, unscientific, ineffective, and motivated by political economic and control objectives that have no relevance to the real question of safety. Providing a digital radio off opt out meter within a mesh network, for a fee, is the equivalent of surcharging for light cigarettes, which supposedly had less tar and nicotine, but in fact were not safer and did not protect others from second-hand smoke.”

As the film “Resonance, Beings of Frequency” explains, we are at one with the rhythms of the Cosmos. And until our technological innovations honor the sacredness of that relationship, we will remain in the Dark Ages.

We can all change all of this. It’s time.
