NY Times Partnered with Verizon to Create a 5G Journalism Lab LAST YEAR - Remember THAT When They Bash 5G Opposition

In May the New York Times published an article warning about excessive screen use and Bluelight exposure affecting skin and sleep. It wasn’t totally anti-telecom / anti-tech – but it certainly wasn’t an endorsement for binge watching on devices or LED light bulbs. The publication HAS defended the safety of 5G AND condemned 5G opponents, though, which is suspect since they partnered with Verizon to create a 5G Journalism Lab last year. For real:

Earlier this year one of their reporters was actually accused of violating the truth and accuracy code when reporting about 5G. How awkward yet reasonable considering the business partnership with Verizon.

Opposition to 5G is WORLDWIDE. Cities AND countries have taken action to ban, delay, halt, and limit installation as well as issue moratoriums (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). Since 2017, doctors and scientists have been requesting a 5G moratorium on Earth as well as in space (see 1, 2, 3).

In the U.S. – 5G warnings and opposition have also been cited by the Departments of Defense, Energy, and Transportation, NASA, NOAA, and the U.S. Navy (see 1, 2). Congress members have asked for evidence that 5G is safe AND that installation be slowed down during the pandemic. Some municipalities have filed lawsuits against unwanted deployment. Doctors, scientists, and public advocates asked Trump for a moratorium last December.

Since 2018, there have been reports of people and animals becoming sick after 5G has been turned on (see 1. 2, 3, 4). There’s no doubt that other sources of wireless and Electromagnetic Radiation (aka “Electrosmog”) cause health problems too. However, experts continue to warn that adding 5G to already dangerous levels of “Electrosmog” is dangerous and moronic (see 1, 2, 3, 4).

Remember all of that that the next time the New York Times reports about 5G or anything telecom related.
