“Social Distancing”: Attack on First Amendment!

“Social Distancing” is a direct attack on Americans’ First Amendment right of Freedom of Assembly. The government assures us that it is enforcing social distancing “for our own good”.

However, there are two major problems with that concept:

1 – First and foremost: It is NEVER in the interests of the American people to destroy the foundation of our republic and freedoms. The Bill of Rights of the US Constitution protects our God-given UNALIENABLE rights. The First Amendment protects not only the right of assembly, but freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion. All of these are now under attack by the policies created for COVID-19.

2 – In late April, The World Health Organization recognized Sweden’s “herd immunity” as the model for the world to follow in dealing with COVID-19 rather than China’s “lockdown” model. Our elected officials take an oath to defend the US Constitution from “enemies foreign and domestic”. Yet, New York City major Bill de Blasio has deployed the police to issue $1,000 fines to people in parks who are deemed to be “too close” together – not practicing sufficient “social distancing”. On May 1, there were massive protests in Manhattan because 40% of New Yorkers could not pay their rent.

Imagine being out of work and in lockdown for six weeks and finally having a chance to go to a park with family and/or friends to enjoy some sun only to be hit with a $1,000  — for what?

CORONAVIRUS: THE GREAT AWAKENING

The video CORONAVIRUS: THE GREAT AWAKENING by The HighWire with Del Bigtree was streamed live on May 7, 2020. The show celebrates Americans and people around the world who are protesting the lockdown now. Del interviews a marine who was able to talk police in California into stop enforcing draconian measures. All across America, patriotic Americans are standing up now to defend their rights under the US Constitution.

Neil Ferguson of the Imperial College in Britain developed the “Imperial Model”, the projections for the coronavirus on which the UK, the US, and many other countries based their COVID-19 policies and decisions to go into lockdown which is destroying their economies, school systems, food industries, etc. When scientists asked Ferguson for his code, he delayed for six weeks because the code was 13 years old! Ferguson asked Microsoft to upgrade the code before he released it for review!

When Ferguson finally released the code, The Gateway Pundit ran a headline saying “The Imperial Model is now confirmed as a complete fraud”. Now, Ferguson has resigned in disgrace. Del points out that Ferguson was responsible for the destruction of the world’s economy because so many people followed him. Ferguson’s projections about the bird flu and mad cow disease were also wildly wrong years ago.

Del cites some of the 120 expert voices (high-ranking scientists, doctors, lawyers, and other experts worldwide) who spoke out about COVID-19 on April 20 to say that it’s just a mild seasonal flu.

End The Lockdown Now!

“Dr Dan Erickson and Dr Artin Massihi counter the official narrative” is a video in which these front-line doctors in California in a one-hour meeting with reporters discuss conclusions they have drawn from the data they collected about COVID-19. Dr. Erickson and Dr. Massihi report that their findings show that COVID-19 is similar to a seasonal flu we have every year. Therefore, they say we should end the lockdown now because it is not necessary and the costs are too high. Those costs are not just economic — as astronomical as those are.

Over 38 million Americans have lost their jobs since March. The costs include loss of revenue, depression, alcoholism, spousal abuse, child abuse, suicide, etc. These society-destroying costs will mount unless the lockdown is ended NOW! They point out that these things “are significantly more detrimental to society than a virus that has proven similar in nature to the seasonal flu we have every year”. In other words – the “cure” is much worse than the disease. The COVID-19 policy has been a dangerous over-reaction that must be completely stopped now.

These front-line MDs explain that the policies we have been told to adopt are putting us all more at risk because they lower our immune system and make us more vulnerable when the lockdown ends. These policies include the lockdown itself which is unprecedented and unnecessary for healthy people. They include the wearing masks, social distancing, excessive washing of hands and use of sanitizers. These policies make us more vulnerable to opportunistic infections what can result in a “second wave” which will be used to justify another destructive lockdown.

Dr. Erickson read their joint statement which points out:

We also need to put measures in place so economic shutdown like this does not happen again. We want to make sure that we understand that quarantining the sick is what we do — not quarantining the healthy. We need to make sure if you are going to dance on someone’s constitutional rights, you better have a good reason. You better have a really good scientific reason and not just theory.

Dr. Erickson and Dr. Massihi point out that Emergency Room physicians across the country are coming to the same conclusions they have. Their recommendations are in line with those of a growing number of prominent doctors. It makes sense for our health policy to be based now on solid data from the field rather than on speculative models that are destroying our economy and undermining our freedoms.

WSJ Article: Is The Coronavirus As Deadly As They Say?

The March 27 video Questioning Conventional Wisdom in the COVID-19 Crisis interviews Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine at Stanford University. He is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a senior fellow at both the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and the Stanford Freeman Spogli Institute.

Dr. Bhattacharya’s March 24 Wall Street Journal article “Is The Coronavirus As Deadly As They Say?”  questions the premise that “coronavirus would kill millions without shelter-in-place orders and quarantines.” In the article, he suggests that “there’s little evidence to confirm that premise—and projections of the death toll could plausibly be orders of magnitude too high.”

The video quotes Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease at the National Institutes of Health who is a member of the White House Corona Task Force, as saying “The flu has a mortality rate of 0.1%. This (COVID-19) has a mortality rate of ten times that.” However, Dr. Bhattacharya says that the mortality rate for COVID-19 is 0.01%!

It’s not popular right now to question conventional wisdom on sheltering in place, but Dr. Bhattacharya makes a strong case for challenging it, based in economics and science. His research used data collected from hotspots around the world and his background as a doctor, a medical researcher, and an economist.

Dr. Bhattacharya explains that there is a lot of debate in the medical community about what the correct numbers are – and we should be honest about that. The policy makers plugged the worst-case scenarios into their policies and newspapers reported their alarming views which the public accepted as scientific fact that justified the lockdown of the society and destruction of the economy.

Dr. Bhattacharya believes COVID-19 is a deadly virus, but says that antibody testing on a representative population locally and nation-wide must be done to determine HOW deadly it is – and that test just became available a few weeks before this interview. He said he hoped that results would be available by the end of April – if everything goes right. On April 17 in The Fight against COVID-19: An Update from Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, he reported that local tests confirmed that the COVID-19 mortality rate is 0.01% — like a seasonal flu. He will soon publish the data from two larger studies – one with Major League Baseball. Other groups in the US and around the world are planning to do similar studies now.

Dr. Bhattacharya warns that the lockdown could cause a global economic collapse that could kill millions of people! He says the rise in GDP in the 20^th century pulled billions of people out of poverty and raised life expectancy everywhere. It that gets reversed, it means many lives will be shortened unnecessarily. So, it’s vital now to get the data and policies right – and not to overreact in ways that destroy society.

Lockdown Vs. Herd Immunity

In Perspectives on the Pandemic | Professor Knut Wittkowski | Episode 2, epidemiologist Knut Wittkowski explains that we are experiencing horrific consequences now of bad policy decisions. The lockdown has ravaged the economy. Lockdown has severe consequences for social life and depression will surge. Closing the schools was one of the most destructive actions the government has done. Since people can get immunity from a flu naturally, a vaccine is not necessary. Yet, Bill Gates is saying that lockdown must continue until he can force everyone to take a vaccine – one from which he will profit massively and which is a violation of the Nuremberg Code.

Professor Wittkowski explains that the best way to solve the COVID-19 crisis is with “herd immunity” – not with a lockdown or vaccines. He says that it’s very important to keep schools open so kids mingle and get herd immunity as fast as possible. Nursing homes should be closed for about four weeks. He says any respiratory disease goes for two weeks, peaks, goes for two weeks — and then is gone.  “Social distancing” to “flatten the curve” prolongs the crisis.

The reported “second wave” will be a direct consequence of “flattening the curve” with social distancing – and will be used to justify another lockdown! He says COVID-19 was nothing to be scared of because it is a flu like every other flu. If the schools and business had remained open, we would have herd immunity now and there could not be a second wave. However, social distancing is almost guaranteed to CREATE a second wave in the autumn. Herd immunity typically lasts for a couple of years.

Since viruses cannot spread outdoors in the spring, one of the best forms of containment is for people to go outdoors now. “Social distancing” — staying indoors — keeps the virus healthy. Dr. Wittkowski says the Chinese had an advantage because they didn’t know what they were dealing with initially. So, before they started the lockdown, there was enough time for the virus to reach herd immunity.

Wittkowski explained that since he is not paid by the government, he’s free to do real science. He says that had the government not intervened, the epidemic would have been over. He said only 2% of all symptomatic cases would have died – a high of 10,000 people – when about 35,000 people die of the flu in the US every year. He says that testing for respiratory disease is neither necessary nor effective.

Wittkowski says that Americans are more docile than they should be. If people don’t stand up for their constitutional rights now, they will lose those freedoms forever. He says that Americans should be resisting now and holding politicians responsible for their misguided policies that have shut the schools, restaurants, other businesses, and cost Americans so much in so many ways – all for nothing.

Growing Calls To Fire and Indict Dr. Fauci

On March 26, Dr. Fauci published an article in the New England Journal of Medicine called “Covid-19 – Navigating the Uncharted” in which he admitted that, “the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a fatality rate of approximately 0.1%.” Yet, in Fauci Says Schools May Open In Fall, Dr. Fauci says that whether the schools reopen in the fall depends on the “flattening of cases”. That means schools may NOT open even in the fall. He warns that a “second wave” will require another lockdown.

On April 16, the John Birch Society sent an urgent update supporting Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai in calling for Fauci to be fired. Dr. Shiva has four doctorate degrees from MIT and holds the patent on the invention of email. He is running for the US Senate from Massachusetts. The JBS says:

Fire Fauci! Dr. Anthony Fauci should be fired. The entire premise of his so-called “solutions” is predicated on the notion of granting the government broad powers and unconstitutional controls over the lives of Americans.

The John Birch Society reports that in an open letter to President Trump, Dr. Shiva is calling for Fauci to be fired from both the White House Coronavirus Task Force and as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Former U.S. Congressman Dr. Ron Paul also called for Fauci to be fired in the April 9, 2020 Ron Paul Liberty Report.

Fauci’s Folly? Disease Expert: Lifting Lockdowns Would “Exterminate” Coronavirus says:

As figures such as Dr. Anthony Fauci recommend months of lockdowns that threaten to exterminate much of our economy, yet another expert has weighed in essentially saying that this course offers all risk and no reward. In fact, epidemiologist Knut Wittkowski stated that lifting the lockdowns would cause the Wuhan virus to be “exterminated” in weeks.

Wittkowski maintained “that the coronavirus could be ‘exterminated’ if we permitted most people to lead normal lives and sheltered the most vulnerable parts of society until the danger had passed,” reports the College Fix. “With all respiratory diseases, the only thing that stops the disease is herd immunity,” Wittkowski told the PPP. “About 80% of the people need to have had contact with the virus, and the majority of them won’t even have recognized that they were infected, or they had very, very mild symptoms, especially if they are children.”

“So, it’s very important to keep the schools open and kids mingling to spread the virus to get herd immunity as fast as possible…It must be emphasized that our whole policy of “locking down” the nation — which threatens to collapse our economy and, ultimately perhaps, our civilization — was based on these flawed models.

Dr. Wittkowski said that a longer lockdown guarantees a “second wave”!

Top Doctor Exposes COVID-19 Plans of Deep State

Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai has four doctorate degrees from MIT and holds the patent on the invention of email! He is running for the US Senate from Massachusetts on the platform of “Truth, Freedom, Health”. In his interview Top Doctor EXPOSES EVERYTHING The Deep State Is Trying To Hide About CV, Dr. Shiva says we are moving toward a top down medical system totally controlled by Big Pharma, Big Ag, and big vaccine manufacturers. The utopia of the “elite” has 17 goals and an immunization 20/30 document says that to achieve those goals, everyone on the planet must be immunized – vaccinate everyone!

Dr. Shiva warns that people will be required to get the mandated vaccines to be allowed to travel, work, etc. He explains that drug companies are not making money from pharmaceutical drugs now because it is so costly to develop a drug and the FDA is approving fewer drugs now because of their toxicity. So, drug companies have moved to vaccines because they are pure profit with no risk. Drug companies cannot be sued for vaccine injuries and the maximum damages for death from a vaccine is $250,000.

Dr. Shiva points out that none of the 30 vaccines recommended by the CDC for young kids has been saline-placebo control tested. The test for the HPV Gardasil vaccine was a fraudulent test.

Dr. Shiva says COVID-19 is a farce brought to you by Dr. Anthony Fauci. Dr. Shiva said he believes Fauci should be indicted. Fauci built his career on the false narrative that HIV causes AIDS. Peter Duesberg, a truly great scientist, the youngest scientist to get tenure at Berkley, showed that AIDS in America and Europe us not caused by the HIV virus, but by drug use. However, when Fauci promoted bogus science and created the fear that HIV causes AIDS, billions of dollars were spent on that idea. A lot of people who used the AZT drug prescribed to treat AIDS died from the drug itself.

However, Deusberg showed that the lifestyles of AIDS patients who were taking so many drugs was destroying their immune systems. So, Fauci doesn’t want to talk about the immune system. Everything is about the bogeyman of viruses that can be treated with vaccines. He is the face of Big Pharma and vaccines. He sees the COVID-19 panic as his opportunity to become a national hero.

COVID-19 was designed to scare people into accepting the vaccine agenda “for the common good”. Most MDs do not know what the immune system is because they don’t study nutrition. However, for people who understand the immune system, the COVID-19 fear-mongering is laughable. We get a weakened immune system by eating a diet that no longer has any vitamins and nutrients. We don’t get enough Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Vitamin A. The focus should be encouraging Americans to eat more nutritious foods to build up their immune systems – not to submit to untested vaccines.

Important Questions About COVID-19 Policies

New Report from Prestigious “British Medical Journal” Suggests Quarantine May Have Already Killed More Seniors Than The Coronavirus gives just one indication of how disastrous the lockdown has been while claiming to protect people from what is now widely recognized to a seasonal flu!

Dr. Knut M. Wittkowski, PhD, ScD, who headed the Department Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Research Design at Rockefeller University in New York for 20 years recently explained his belief that quarantine is has probably killed more seniors due to the fact that lockdown has prevented herd immunity. According to him, the population should have not been locked down so herd immunity would be created while we should have just quarantined seniors and other vulnerable people. According to him, and many others in the field, quarantining for this respiratory virus makes absolutely no sense, and we don’t do it for other more infectious and deadly respiratory viruses that have been circling the globe for decades. You can read more about that and watch an interview with him, here.  He is just one of many examples….Many of the world’s leading scientists and epidemiologists in this field have called out quarantine measures explaining why it makes no sense, and why it’s more harmful than the actual virus. The article raises important questions:

Ask yourself, why have many of the world’s leading scientists and epidemiologists who have been studying viruses and outbreaks for decades have been censored, yet people like Bill Gates have become the major health authority with regards to what humanity should do. Why are social media platforms censoring and deleting information that contradicts the World Health Organization? Should people not have the right to examine sources, evidence and information openly and freely and decide for themselves what they choose to believe? … Today, we must ask ourselves, are the measures that governments force us into always in our best interests? Should we simply do what our federal health regulatory agencies tell us to do, without question?

Although it is now widely recognized that COVID-19 is at most a seasonal flu, the insanity of government policy rages on beyond the disastrous lockdown. New York City major Bill de Blasio was enforcing “social distancing” in parks with $1,000 tickets for people “caught” closer than six feet apart!  Consider the people in the photo below. They may be husband and wife who sleep together every night and a sister who is visiting them. At home, they eat meals and watch TV together – not six feet apart. So, why do they have to be six feet apart outdoors – or risk being fined $1,000 each?

NYC Backs Off Enforcing Some “Social Distancing” Rules

New York City increases social distancing fines to $1,000, Mayor de Blasio: says:

He also repeated calls for New Yorkers to report large groups and individuals violating social distancing rules by snapping a photo and texting it to 311.“This is not snitching; this is saving lives,” the mayor said. “You gotta do it, if you care about protecting human lives.” Authorities have issued fines for social distancing violations 244 times while conducting proactive enforcement — in which NYPD and other officers have sought out groups gathered in parks and elsewhere — according to the mayor’s office.

So, we should report on our neighbors for being “too close” in public? That sounds like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, not the Land of the Free. Obviously, it makes zero sense for people who live together to have to remain six feet apart in public or risk being fined $1,000! So, what’s the REAL reason for NYC police enforcing “social distancing” rules? Fortunately, push back from the public, the media, and the Police Benevolent Association of New York City is bringing some sanity into the situation now.

New York Mayor Announces NYPD Will Scale Back Social Distancing Enforcement said on May 15:

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) will be taking a step back from its role enforcing social distancing guidelines after multiple violent incidents drew widespread criticism. During a Friday press conference, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio said that NYPD officers will no longer be handing out tickets or arresting people who are not wearing masks in public, or who are gathered in small groups. “We’re going to focus on when it starts to be more than a handful of people, and we’re not going to be having the NYPD enforcing on face coverings,” Mayor de Blasio announced.

“Hopefully that will clarify everyone’s relationship to each other and help us get the best result while also really protecting the progress we’ve made in the relationship between police and community.” De Blasio said that officers will continue to break up large gatherings, but added that “if we never need to take any additional enforcement action other than the NYPD showing up and people leaving, that’s the ideal by far.”

His announcement comes after numerous reports of overtly-aggressive arrests involving people said to be ignoring social distancing measures. The most recent incident sparking outrage came on May 13, with a video gone viral social media showing a mother being arrested by officers policing the NYC subway for allegedly not wearing a mask properly. The woman’s small child was present throughout the arrest, which saw her wrestled to the floor as onlookers watched, some yelling “she had her mask on.”

The article adds:

Both police reform advocates and the NYPD’s union have called for officers to end the policing of public health measures outright. Representatives for these grounds criticized what they saw as ambiguity in de Blasio’s statement. Patrick Lynch, the president of the Police Benevolent Association of New York City (NYC PBA) argued that de Blasio’s new rules would only create more issues. “The new policy should be a single sentence: police officers are not responsible for enforcing social distancing or other public health directives,” Lynch said in a statement.”

PBA in the News shows that the Police Benevolent Association of New York City has been firmly against the mayor’s use of police to enforce “social distancing” rules.

Real Reason For Restricting Large Groups?

The article concludes:

And Robert Gangi, director of New York City-based advocacy organization Police Reform Organizing Project (PROP), labeled the decision a “modest step” for the department, but also continued to call for the police to stop enforcing altogether. It’s clearly a response to the videos and the black eye that they’ve given the NYPD and de Blasio,” Gangi tells TIME. “The policy should be to remove the NYPD entirely from enforcing social distancing.

Clearly, NYC went insane over a seasonal flu. While it is good that Mayor de Blasio is scaling back some of the most Orwellian policies, why is he still forbidding “more than a handful of people” to get together? Why is de Blasio saying that police will continue to break up “large gatherings”. How large? Until now, the COVID-19 policies limited groups to 10 people. Will 20 people be “allowed” to exercise their unalienable First Amendment rights of free assembly now? How about 100 people?

Why is the size of permissible groups left unclear? That puts people unnecessarily at risk. If it’s “ok” for 20 people to get together now, what happens if one more person shows up? Is that over the limit according to Mayor de Blasio’s unconstitutional rules? Where does Mayor de Blasio think he can draw the line on our First Amendment right of assembly?

As the mayor of NYC, Bill de Blasio took an oath of office in which he swore to abide by the US Constitution. If he does not want to keep that oath now, he should resign immediately. Americans do not need the permission of mayor or governors to gather in groups of whatever size we choose because the First Amendment protects our unalienable right of assembly.

Since it is clear that health is not the reason to limit the size of groups, what is the REAL reason for restricting gatherings? It seems obvious that the government fears massive public criticism for its unprecedented and unjustified shut down of the US economy which has cost $2 trillion so far and put 30 million Americans out of work! In reaction to a seasonal flu, the government closed restaurants which has dramatically affected to food chain. It shut down schools which robbed students from kindergarten to graduate school of a semester of study – depriving many people of graduation ceremonies and proms. The COVID-19 polices shut down sports events including the Boston Marathon and Masters golf tournament. The policies have disrupted weddings and funerals.

The government also has reason to fear massive public opposition to its bizarre upcoming COVID-19 policies which include “contact tracing” and a possibly mandatory untested vaccine. Dr. Knut Wittkowski has explained that contact tracing can be done for sexually transmitted diseases because most people know whom they had sex with recently. However, it cannot be done with the flu.

Since he lives in New York City, Dr. Wittkowski gave the example of a New Yorker taking a bus to a subway to go to work, going to a restaurant for lunch and later for dinner and then to a Broadway play in the evening. During the course of the day, he would have come in contact with hundreds, and possibly thousands of people, few of whom could be identified. So, all talk of “contact tracing” has nothing to do with health or the desire to protect anyone from COVID-19.

New York Governor Cuomo opened New York beaches starting with the Memorial Day weekend. However, Mayor de Blasio says that “New York beaches are not ready to re-open any time soon”. What does a beach have to do to get ready to receive people?  What lunacy is this?!

Nothing Changes As Long As You Obey

“Exceptionally Cruel and Insensitive Health Officials” by Dr. Mark Sircus should be read in full. Much of it is quoted here. Dr. Sircus says:

Not only are they cruel and insensitive but they are outright liars (they love scary predictions that do not come true) and do not want to listen to anyone who disagrees with their insensible plans to destroy human civilization. They are destroyers of human existence, human activity, human happiness and even human health. To be in favor of lock-downs is to be for death of the world economy, increased death by suicide, increased death by over a million from tuberculous, vastly increased homelessness, and for millions to die of starvation. That is the short list.

Medical Nightmare Turning Apocalyptic

It has not completely sunk in yet but the real nightmare is just getting started. More than four out of five people in the global labor force of 3.3 billion have been hit by full or partial workplace closures, according to the International Labor Organization, which says 1.6 billion workers in the informal economy “stand in immediate danger of having their livelihoods destroyed.” How a few men got the politicians of the world to do this is something that history will have to eventually answer.

More than 36 million have filed for unemployment in the United States since mid-March. It is not a depression we are entering but a collapse that could halt most human activity. If the coronavirus pandemic continues to drive unemployment levels as high as predicted, homelessness will increase 40% to 45% by the end of the year, according to an analysis by a Columbia University economics professor. That would mean 250,000 more people in the US would experience homelessness compared with last year, bringing the total number of those experiencing homelessness to above 800,000.

How can we possibly measure the human suffering as a consequence of what is being done following the orders of health care officials? For those who oppose the orders it might be a good time to revisit the teaching of Martin Luther King Jr. “Martin King, was a minister who exposed the truth that obedience keeps us in chains. His crucial synthesis was to combine disobedience with goodness. His crucial work (and this is greatly under-appreciated) was to hold disobedience and goodness together.”

There is open lockdown rebellion in Pennsylvania and demonstrations in England and Germany…. World health officials are not practicing medicine or public health they are practicing cold-hardheartedness. They along with politicians are acting like the original communists and fascists who believed that their way was the only way, killing or censoring anyone who disagrees. Certain epidemiologists have said there is very little sturdy evidence to base lockdown policies on, but this has not prevented politicians from acting as if everything they say or do is based on solid science….

While many European cities begin the process of reviving their economies, the Big Apple — America’s coronavirus epicenter — remains shut as authorities fear sparking another wave of COVID-19 infections. So let the city die and long live fear! Sweden never closed down in the first place and they are not having more difficulties with the virus than countries that have lockdown their people. We have let the fears of health authorities choke the world and create a form of hysteria never seen before.

First Amendment Protects Freedom of Assembly

On August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech to over 250,000 people at the Lincoln Memorial. Dr. King began: “I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.” He added: “Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy….It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment…. I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed.”

Americans were free in 1963 to gather and speak truth to power and to correct the long abuses of the state and federal governments. That historic speech helped sway the nation and eventually led to the Civil Rights laws that today protect the rights of millions of Americans. Such is the power of Freedom of Assembly and Freedom of Speech. That’s why the US Founding Father chose the First Amendment to protect these foundational freedoms.

Now, under the pretext of “keeping us all safe”, the government is using a seasonal flu to destroy our ability to organize and protest the growing abuses of government.  Destroying the First Amendment right of Freedom of Assembly is not protecting us. It is destroying America.

America needs a second Civil Rights Movement now. We must assert our First Amendment right of Free Assembly and gather in crowds of whatever size we choose. We need people who are willing to go to jail, if necessary, as Dr. King and many members of the Civil Rights Movement did. They endured attacks by police dogs and water hoses. Their answer was in song “We shall not be moved”. They were unshakeable in their defense of freedom. They understood their rights and would accept nothing less.

There is a time for civil disobedience as Henry David Thoreau wrote in the 19^th century in his  historic Civil Disobedience and On the Duty of Civil Disobedience. The US Founding Fathers told us in The Declaration of Independence that there is a time to replace governments that don’t serve the needs of the people.

As America becomes more like Nazi Germany and Communist China every day, the only question now is the one that was asked in the beginning of our republic: “Does the star-spangled banner yet wave o’er the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave?”

Sheriff Defends US Constitution

Sheriff Mack is known for his role in a successful lawsuit taken to the Supreme Court against the federal government which alleged that portions of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act violated the United States Constitution. He is a former lobbyist for Gun Owners of America (GOA) and a two-time candidate for United States Congress. Mack is also the founder of Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), and established the “County Sheriff Project” movement, both of which reaffirm the constitutional power to refuse to enforce unjust federal laws.

Sheriff Mack is a staunch supporter of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights and calls on sheriffs and law enforcement officers across the country to uphold their sworn oaths to the Constitution and to reject tyranny in all forms.

Sheriff Mack understands that, as Americans, we have UNALIENABLE rights granted by the Creator and protected by the Bill of Rights. That means that the US government CANNOT legally take those rights away — as in a “lockdown” of healthy people, closing businesses, churches, and schools, making people wear masks, stand six apart, limit freedom of assembly, engage in “contact tracing”, or forced vaccinations!

We have a US Constitution because people like Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give  me death!” Benjamin Franklin warned the colonists, “If we don’t hang together, we will surely hang separately!” Everyone who signed The Declaration of Independence knew he was putting his life on the line for freedom. In doing do, they bequeathed to us a treasure inspired by the freedoms they observed in Native America and unmatched elsewhere in the world.

However, if Americans now surrender our unalienable, God-given rights for a seasonal flu, they have forgotten what the US Founding Father were willing to risk their lives to bequeath us. They have forgotten what the Civil Rights Movement was all about. They have forgotten their responsibilities as American citizens and their responsibilities to the coming generations.

It’s time now to remember what it means to be an American.
