"Disease and Death" for Data System? Doctor and State Rep Highlight 5G at Illinois Senate Health Committee

Last week, an Illinois state rep introduced a bill to exclude 5G from residential zones. This week, Illinois state legislators held a hearing to discuss 5G health risks.

Dr. Paul Héroux, director of the occupational health program at McGill University in Montreal, testified at the hearing and posed the following question to legislators:

We believe that this state should have the best data system possible, but would you condemn your fellow citizens to disease and death in the process? — Source: The Southern Illinoisan

Since people and animals have already been getting sick where 5G has been turned on (see 1, 2, 3, 4) this seems like a fair question.

Opposition to 5G continues to increase in the U.S. and worldwide. The first Global 5G Opposition Day was held last month. Many cities and countries have taken action including banning it. In December doctors, scientists, engineers, and public advocates asked President Trump for a moratorium on 5G because of biological, environmental, and safety risks (see 1, 2, 3). Multiple lawsuits have also been filed regarding installation (see 1, 2, 3, 4).

LAST YEAR the telecom industry gave congressional testimony that they have NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe. Unfortunately many elected officials and government employees continue forcing it on communities and/or turning a blind eye to all the warnings and public outcry.

Misinformation about 5G has been reported by many sources including The New York Times. Perhaps it’s because in 2019 they partnered with Verizon for a 5G Journalism Lab. Whatever the reason, one reporter is now being accused of violating a truth and accuracy code by the Press Council of Ireland.

Of course, all sources of cell phone and wireless WiFi radiation – 1G through 4G – are harmful AND pollution from Electromagnetic Radiation (“Electrosmog”) was also a problem before 5G. For many years now environmentalists and health experts have been saying we should be reducing sources of Electrosmog. The “Race for 5G” does the exact opposite and includes blasting 5G at Earth from space with satellites.
