Cell Tower Co President Tells Child She Will Not Get Cancer If Tower is Installed at Her School Even Though His Son Got Leukemia and His School Had a Tower

By B.N. Frank

Despite the many warnings from the American Academy of Pediatrics and other health experts that kids are more susceptible to harm (including increased cancer risk) from exposure to all sources of wireless radiation – including cell towers – some people will never believe it.  Here is one more sad and ironic example:

Maybe he didn’t know that no “safe” level of wireless radiation exposure had been scientifically determined for children or pregnant women.  It still hasn’t. Regardless, it is true that not all kids will get cancer if cell towers are installed at their schools.  But some may and have already.  Equally relevant – cell tower exposure (and WiFi) can cause other debilitating and life-threatening symptoms and illnesses to children and staff.

Cancer clusters near cell towers have been reported at locations all over the world.  It’s not unreasonable that people everywhere – including elected officials – are trying to prevent them from being installed near schools (see 1, 2, 3).  Better safe than sorry, right?
