Op-Ed by Catherine J. Frompovich
Eleven (11) researchers can’t be wrong, or can they?
It all depends on who finances a research project and for what specific merchandising or propaganda agenda was to be established.
It seems the CDC/FDA have not been playing according to the rules of the exacting discipline called “science”; or, CDC/FDA really do not know what straightforward academic science is, i.e., factual results, which can be confirmed by other scientists getting the same results, versus CDC/FDA’s “consensus science” as published in numerous papers designed to exonerate the MMR vaccine from causing Autism and/or measles.
A classic “consensus science” example is the DeStefano, et al. paper of 2004 Pediatrics. 2004 Feb;113(2):259-66.
Age at first measles-mumps-rubella vaccination in children with autism and school-matched control subjects: a population-based study in metropolitan Atlanta.

So back in 2016, did four researchers from Public Health Agency of Canada; four researchers from the U.S. CDC in Atlanta; and three researchers from the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin, Germany, get together to mislead health agencies and consumers about real causes of measles, which constantly is blamed on “non-vaxxers,” whereas those eleven researchers confirmed contradicting findings per the Journal of Clinical Microbiology:
We have evaluated the method independently in three measles reference laboratories using two platforms, the Roche LightCycler 480 system and the Applied Biosystems (ABI) 7500 real-time PCR system. In comparison to the standard real-time RT-PCR method, the MeVA RT-qPCR showed 99.5% specificity for genotype A and 94% sensitivity for both platforms. The new assay was able to detect RNA from five currently used vaccine strains, AIK-C, CAM-70, Edmonston-Zagreb, Moraten, and Shanghai-191. The MeVA RT-qPCR assay has been used successfully for measles surveillance in reference laboratories, and it could be readily deployed to national and subnational laboratories on a wide scale. In the Introduction to their paper, we find this rather fascinating information:
Recent [2016?] measles outbreaks in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia have emphasized the need for rapid differentiation of vaccine reactions (18, 19) from reactions to infection with the wild-type virus. During the measles outbreak in California in 2015, a large number of suspected cases occurred in recent vaccinees (3). Of the 194 measles virus sequences obtained in the United States in 2015, 73 [*] were identified as vaccine sequences (R. J. McNall, unpublished data). In contrast, only 11 of 542 cases genotyped in the National Reference Center for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella in Germany were associated with the vaccine virus. [CJF emphasis]
[ *CJF: That’s 37.5+% (72.75 measles virus sequences) or over one-third were identified as VACCINE sequences, i.e., the strains in vaccines! Who is fooling whom? Note the PCR test evaluation was used to contradict apparent vaccine ‘double-speak’. I wrote about PCR vaccine testing in this article. PCR testing ought to be mandatory for all vaccines CDC and FDA license [1], specifically to identify correctly the genotypes involved, so as not to provide inaccurate, false and misleading fearmongering statistics and tactics to accept hyped-up vaccinations. ]
The information above needs to be taken seriously by various Oversight Committees in the U.S. Congress, as federal health agencies either are not capable of doing science correctly; or probably are misled by vaccine manufacturers who “pay the freight” at CDC/FDA, which look the other way; or basically are hard-core ‘science mischief makers’.
Personally, I think anyone who doubts an association that the MMR vaccine is not a source of measles or mumps [2] outbreaks in the USA, or elsewhere, to inflame the need for vaccinations, needs to read recent research to the contrary, as published in the following 2016 paper.
