It appears statements may still be submitted to the FCC regarding Docket 17-79, Accelerating Wireless Broadband Deployment by Removing Barriers to Infrastructure Investment.
Legislation limiting municipal control has already been fought in many states. It’s already been vetoed or delayed in some of them. Unfortunately for Ohio residents, their small cell tower bill was passed by legislators, signed by the governor, and went into effect on August 1. Regardless, many Ohio elected officials and organizations – even the ones who endorsed this horrible state bill – are mad as hell about this federal legislation.
