There is a positive and negative version of the “total manipulation” paradigm.
On the negative side, secret societies and giant corporations and bankers dominate world events to such a degree, resistance is futile. Nothing can be done.
And since nothing can be done, individual freedom is useless.
On the positive side (if you can call it that), the universe, or superior space aliens, or some other Entity is working out a plan that is destined to succeed and usher in an era of joy and glory—in which case, one only need wait until the moment arrives.
In this case as well, individual freedom is beside the point.
In both versions of this paradigm, passivity is the actual outcome.
A person operating under its banner is advocating a massive excuse for his own inaction. That’s what he’s after. That’s his Holy Grail. Arriving at a vacuum and rationalizing it.
I have seen this play out on many fronts.
The wisdom of waiting. The wisdom of spectatorship. The wisdom of having “superior intelligence.” The wisdom of “submitting to a greater force.” The wisdom of surrender.
But the truth is, no matter how much manipulation exists behind the curtain, the individual and his freedom and imagination and power don’t go away. They don’t vanish. They are always there.
Another truth: most of the people who wind up being passive started out with a preference for passivity—and their explorations were launched in order to confirm what they were already dedicated to.
Over the past 35 years, I’ve spent a great deal of time exposing high-level manipulations, but always with the bottom-line intent of making readers more conscious of their own capacity to reject those operations, in favor of the futures they truly want to create.
That’s the point of my work, and of my three Matrix collections.
The power of the individual is the root.
The paradigm of lock-and-key manipulation imprisoning the whole planet BEYOND RECALL is a deep form of fake news. The people who buy it tend to want to pull others down to their level. This is a dead-end contagion.
This is retreat.
But what would advance look like?
It would look like the individual fleshing out, through imagination, various thrilling futures he might want to build—and settling on one and committing himself to its invention.
This is the frontier, at which the population arrived, after centuries of struggle to disentangle the individual from the collective, from the kings and theocracies and other power groups.
This is the frontier, at which some individuals stall and postpone and wait and go passive.
But that doesn’t mean you have to.

aliens are in charge of the illuminati. aliens are not our friends. they are leading the technocratic totalitarian purge of the human herd. the human race is their stockyard. it seems a conspiracy to rub the 5tupid story in our faces that aliens are always about to love us.
You’re missing the point of this article. The author is inviting you to create your own future. Every human being can do this no matter how many pounds of chains we get bound up in. If nothing else set your mind free to explore possible outcomes to resisting any kind of force, getting beyond it, having your own power. You have the creative spark of love, life and Light within you. None can take that away unless you consent.
If you want to think aliens or Bob Jones has all the power over you, then yes they do. If you think a hero will come save you, be ready to wait an eternity. Step up, be your own hero. I you think you are free, you are free. No one or nothing can take your freedom, again, unless you consent. You hold all the power. Each and every one of us do.
Let’s all start being our own heroes, start living our lives in joy and freedom right now. What can stop us? Only our own choice to consent to letting another, or some thing stop us, can do that. Choose to not consent. It is that simple.

Absolutely true – BUT the problem in America is that you actually seem to think that “the RINOs are causing it” or “it’s the democrats” – not so – the answer is that they are both there to create the illusion of choice for you, but they have enough differences to “divide and conquer” you!
It is separation consciousness that is being used to hold power over us – please consider not adding to it?

Scene: A torture chamber, one of many that the Empire (sort of) maintains. A couple of ugly knives, various clamps, and numerous harder-to-identify (because YOU don’t WANT to REALLY know) objects and devices adorn(sic) the back wall.
Cast: One military-dressed and muscular One of Those. And one scanty+raggy-clad, emaciated, unkempt and STILL unbroken prisoner of the above-mentioned well-off(sic) gentleman (sic again), tight-strapped on their back to a filthy steel table. Steel shackles & chains on wrists and ankles.
The ankle chains are threaded into a winch. The wrist chains are fastened to the head of the steel table. The table is heavy-bolted into the concrete floor, directly over the drain.
There is a pitcher of water, a filthy-looking washcloth and an equally filthy mop sink with a leaky spigot within view. The Military-Dressed Man rubs his manicured paws together, licks his lips and takes a step toward the table with the washcloth and pitcher. And the prisoner speaks UP.
“One thing before you start, Mister!”, he says in commanding Voice.
M-DM stops cold in his tracks, responding quite programmatically (and unexpectedly on HIS part) to the Tone of Command. Frozen in mid-stride. And does not know WHY, which only increases the paralysis. 😉
“Something you should have known before you started. That is this: You have right near all manner of power over me, this much is true. BUT there is ONE thing about me that you have NO power over. That’s right – NONE at ALL.”
(Uh-oh…) “Go on.” (Uh-oh…)
“In all reality, YOU, Sirrah, no MATTER WHAT you do to me, have NO power over this one thing about me.”
(UH-oh…) “Go ON!” (UH-oh…)
“No matter what you do to me, Mister, you have NO POWER to FORCE me to LIKE IT. I say no more.”

To be controlled, we have to be unplugged from competing sources of control. The major threat to external control is our internal guidance system—our souls.
Our souls are our best friends and most trusted guides. But to the control paradigm, they’re the enemy – what has to be removed in order for external control to work. Only when we’re sufficiently disconnected from our inner compass will we follow outer demands.
As long as the paradigm remains invisible, we’re stuck. The prevailing model stymies change. Every time we try to move in a new direction, the old paradigm kicks in and intimidates us into doing the same old, soul-diminishing stuff.
The most conspiratorial part of a paradigm shift is that it lies within the power of each of us to do it. Their power comes from our shared commitment to them. The minute one person starts to explore alternative models, the paradigm no longer holds the same power.
As Marilyn Ferguson explained in The Aquarian Conspiracy, the word ‘conspiracy’ comes from ‘conspirare,’ which means ‘to breathe together.’
A new cultural paradigm begins with each person stepping out of the old and daring to breathe something new.

Scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have found that when just 10 percent of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society.
The scientists, who are members of the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center (SCNARC) at Rensselaer, used computational and analytical methods to discover the tipping point where a minority belief becomes the majority opinion.
The finding has implications for the study and influence of societal interactions ranging from the spread of innovations to the movement of political ideals.
