Although the bill was devised prior to Trump’s taking the Republican nomination, it is now being pushed to prevent him from lifting sanctions, according to staffers.
The bill was hammered by the House Foreign Affairs Committee in July.
The House wants to prevent Trump from reversing sanctions. In 2014, Obama signed a number of executive orders outlawing Russian firms from doing business with American corporations.
Trump will be able to nullify the sanctions if he becomes president.
If the bill becomes law, Trump or any other future president would only be able to reverse sanctions if Putin agrees to give up Crimea.

No word about asking if nearly a million and a half Crimeans are in favor of this.

Congress should be reminded of what the US did for Bosnia, removing it from its position as a part of Serbia. Then it should be asked, why all of a sudden, it is wrong for Russia to accept the Crimean peoples’ request for return to Russia. We all know the US government is grossly hypocritical, but still this is current foolishness is beyond the pale. The American position gives rise to conspiracy theories that may be more true than not. Did Victoria Nuland and the American ambassador create and support the Ukrainian Coup? Did they along with $5 billion in NGO funds destroy Ukraine’s nascent democracy and install “our man” as part of an illegal puppet government in Kiev? Was the whole point of the deadly exercise to provoke Russia, harm its national security and wrest away, its sole naval base on the Black Sea,which is located in Crimea? All the signs point in this direction!

I believe that Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, now accused of illegally receiving funds in the election of the previous elected ruler of the Ukraine, was a set-up to sabotage Trump’s Presidential run. Supposedly, a handwritten financial journal was found with his name in it, but they can’t find any record of Manafort receiving those funds.

The Crimean issue is not related to Syria other than the Russians and the chieftains of the NWO are involved in both. About terrorist, it is defined as one that cause terror and this is what US wants to do to the Russians by declaring Russia a permanent enemy, regardless that Crimeans not only voted to join Russia but has been Russian since the 18 century,despite the administrative transfer to Ukraine in 1958.
