This week, the US government used drones and airstrikes to fire missiles and drop bombs in a country that they aren’t at war with, killing at least 150 people. This act of aggression took place in Somalia, where the US military regularly stages drone strikes and other attacks, despite the fact that they have not declared war on the country. The government claims that every single one of the victims were “militants” or terrorists; however, they have not revealed the identities of the victims and have not provided any evidence to support their claims.
Another important thing to point out is that not everyone who is labeled as a “militant” is dangerous. Whenever the mainstream media releases a story about drone attacks, they typically use the word “militant” to describe the victims. This label implies that the victims are not civilians or are somehow involved in terrorism or violent military activities.
However, this is not what they are actually saying, this is a deception.
Back in 2013, the Obama Administration redefined “Militant” to mean “Military Aged Male”, so this way nearly any male who gets killed is considered a violent enemy, at least in the eyes of the general population.
After 9/11, the Bush administration put forward a philosophy of pre-emptive war that has infected American politics ever since and kept the country in a constant state of war. The “war on terror” was basically an excuse for the US government to go to war whenever they wanted to, and both the mainstream media and the American public have accepted this mentality ever since, although some on the left waited for Obama to get into office before they began openly supporting pre-emptive war. When Obama became president, the anti-war left disappeared and began to support the war on terror mentality that they fought so hard against during the Bush years.
In the years since the war on terror began, the US and NATO have created a total disaster in the Middle East, destroying the infrastructure of entire countries, and funding opposing sides in civil wars and other conflicts. The further violence that this has created has then provided the US military with even more justifications to create even more war, in the name of fighting terror.

Death for fun and profit since 1776
BS.
Our forefathers in 1776 fought and died for principals.
As slave holding, murdering, rapists, and thieves. I dare you…..tell me I am wrong….I will wait.
Principals. LOL Yes, they did. Their bosses.
They did not really have much seriously positive PRINCIPLES though.
The King of England financially backed both sides of the American Revolutionary War. (Treaty of Versailles-July 16, 1782 Treaty of Peace 8 Stat 80). America is a British Colony. The ‘United States’ is a corporation, not a land mass; it existed before the Revolutionary War; the British Troops did not leave until 1796 (Republica v. Sweers 1 Dallas 43, Treaty of Commerce 8 Stat 116, Treaty of Peace 8 Stat 80, IRS Publication 6209, Articles of Association October 20, 1774).
The Neocons just love picking on people that can’t effectively defend themselves. That’s why they make treaties, in order to break them when others are docile. Don’t trust America’s rulers, they will stab anyone in the back on a whim.
Classic cowards!
Not just neocons. Do you know why the Korean War took place? From James Perloff, I learned the banksters (Rockefeller and his minions, etc.) set up the Korean war from the very beginning and had their Soviet / Russian puppets decline to veto the UN ACTION carried out by US / NATO. This was the first precedent of a UN controlled war.
The bombing in Somalia is the metastasis of this process to form a A Global Military and Police Force with carte blanche authority. This isn’t imperialism or incompetence – it’s a process of enslaving the entire world.
Our foreign policy is a bunch of evil pipe-dreams that are never going to succeed, say-one-thing-and-do-the-opposite terrorist support, and crimes against humanity. I’ve already e-mailed the White House and my Representatives about this.
in the real world, it’s called MURDER, TERRORISM, CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND ACT OF WAR! all in violation of US law, laws of nations and international law!
Remind me who the terrorists are again??
Well said. And our actions in this will absolutely cause “terror” attacks on us, and rightly so.
These endless wars are not meant to ever end. They are the result of our deep state, the government within our government that we don’t see. We are at war in the Middle East for the benefit of big oil, big banks, Wall Street and the military-industrial complex of the generals in the Pentagon and the so-called “defense” weapons industry.
Imagine the immense size of the “defense” budget. That kind of money will buy a lot of votes and mansions in Virginia.
This along with the CIA, NSA and a few deeply corrupted politicians who are assisting in this manipulation are the real government of the US. It is not well known that the CIA, bin Laden, and the Saudis created al Queda as a means to create more fear. The Saudis allegedly flew the planes into the Trade Towers on 9/11, so what is the reaction by the US.? Bush attacks Iraq, then creates an excuse to attack Afghanistan. We never hear a word about the Saudis. yet they are financing both side in the ISIS civil war to maintain the havok in the Middle East.
We, the citizens, are being manipulated into constant fear of terrorists and our so-called “national interests” along with demonizing the Muslims as the bad guys.
I’ve lived on the other side of the world for some length of time, and upon returning I was amazed at the level of free-floating fear I found in America. People here are so isolated and don’t realize it. The US is the government and the news media provide all the information we have, and neither of these sources ever tell us the truth. Ever.
It’s a pity that so many in the US are indifferent, uniformed and prefer to remain that way. The don’t understand what they don’t understand. We don’t have a chance.
Thank God for Putin who is putting a stop to the U.S. Syrian covert genocide. They also have drones and so does Iran. If the U.S. persists in this form of remote controlled murder, do not be surprised when a stealth drone hits the White House.
Here’s a question to ponder, WHERE within the body of the US Constitution is the authority to make war against anyone, when the US has not been attacked??
Out of the last 220 years, the US govt has been openly engaged in armed conflict for 200 of those 220 years! Covertly, there hasn’t been a single year that the US govt has not been involved in armed conflict!!!
If our technology was used by good people for the right reasons we would support it, but the corrupt establishment elite use it for their ends and we can see just how corrupt they are with their media and clowns coming out against Trump taking over. American crimes against humanity, such as the Iraq war, create more and more terrorists – that is why we have ISIS.
That is not why we have ISIS, friend. You might need to research some more material on Activist Post?
Keep killing people in a country, and sooner or later, that country will have payback time. I wouldn’t be surprised if this country is attacked in some form or another. I just hope they know to go after washinton d.c., who were the ones that did that to them, and not the american people!
Just issue an e/o and CONgress is nullified. It’s just a pretense to make folks think they really vote.
Send in the drones and don’t declare a war – send in ‘advisers’ and don’t declare a war. Call it what it is – mass murder to cull the horde. Brought to you by the same folks that own the zentral banks. The sooner they are off planet the sooner a thousand years of peace will commence.
Q) How does one become a “militant”?
A) By being killed in an american drone attack.
Because then they could go in there annihilate their country, make it unstable and then place someone in power there. Like they did with Saddam.
U mean Libya I think friend.
They have no government…..The empire broke it years ago.
Come on people, please, see it from the perspective of the Pentagon.
You cannot sustain such a giant military industry on a taxation budget without also cultivating a threat to the tax cattle.
Random, arbitrary bombing of communities in various countries will leave many, very heart broken mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grand parents and other close relatives. Especially if you can score a couple of kids in your target area. That is why we like to hit weddings and other communal gatherings, now and then.
What we are attempting is to cultivate a fantastically fertile field of spiritual agony, torment and bitterness. These foking primitives will have NO ability to channel their suffering discontent and we are then left with …….Hate!
It is then a matter of setting up a little dissident group, throw some money at them, get them to go recruit among those “hate filled” communities, and, ……dare we say – “voila” – we have a potentially dangerous terrorist group to plaster onto the screens of our IdiotBoxes back home.
Now our little drone base in Jabbadabba-Du can ‘legitimately’ expand into a full military base with fighter planes and other heavy equipment………that……we might just leave behind suddenly to further equip our ‘terrorist’ group. The population back home are really just too fkng retarded to comprehend our plan for corporate sustainability. Mommies and daddies are so prrrooouuud of their boys and girls so smartly dressed in their expensive military uniforms. “My boy is faytin’ fo oua freedum”
“Keep entertainment to below 6 th grade level”…. Captain America, G.I Joe, The Avengers, etc, etc.
Just to be clear, many on the left do not now and have never supported these capitalist-imperialist wars and have never stopped opposing them. Obama is a capitalist-imperialist and as continued and deepened US war-making from the start of his regime’s time in power.
