Last summer, as ISIS was busy taking large swaths of Iraq, it was reported that 40kg of uranium had gone missing from Mosul University. It was later confirmed that ISIS had indeed taken possession of this uranium, as they threatened the West with their radioactive materials.
Now only 4 months later, ISIS has taken to Twitter, publicly announcing to the world that they have created a dirty bomb with this material.
The terrorists are said to have produced the device using radioactive uranium that they took from Iraq’s Mosul University after capturing the city in June, the Daily Mirror reported.
According to the report, the Takfiri militants also sent threatening messages on social media, bragging about the destruction the bomb would cause if it went off in London.
British explosives expert, Hamayun Tariq, who left his home in Dudley, West Midlands, to join the Takfiri terrorists in 2012 and is now training fellow Brits in Syria, was among the extremists making online threats. The 37-year-old said in a message posted online that the ISIL “does have a dirty bomb,” adding, “We’ll find out what dirty bombs are and what they do. We’ll also discuss what might happen if one actually went off in a public area.”
He added the bomb would be “terribly destructive” if set off in London because it would be “more of a disruptive than a destructive weapon,” a claim also echoed by other ISIL militants.
It would definitely be more disruptive. What he is referencing is the unique lethality of dirty bombs. Since there is no nuclear explosion, very few people would be killed or injured in the blast. It would however, obliterate the radioactive material, and send the particles all over the city. The prospects of radiation poisoning, cancer, and birth defects would make the city unlivable and completely destroy its economic output.
Without a doubt this is a serious threat, though not for the reasons the mainstream media would like you to think. The United States has supported dozens of extremist groups in the Middle East since the Arab Spring began, including ISIS.
Even if the U.S. is only supporting “moderate” groups, those organizations still share weapons and equipment with their radical cousins. Our government is responsible for the growth of ISIS in one form or another. Only one question remains. Is it intentional? Is this a case of blowback, or is our government deliberately supplying our supposed enemies?
I would argue the latter, but it won’t make a lick of difference to millions of people if a dirty bomb goes off in the West. Their lives will still be ruined. Whether it is due to our government’s incompetence or malice, will be of little consequence to someone who is dying from fallout induced cancer.
For the rest of us, however, those facts will be critical. 9/11 did so much to hamstring our rights; just imagine what a dirty bomb will do. This country will be locked down indefinitely, and whatever rights we have left will be on the chopping block.
It appears that we are fast approaching the day when an American or European city is subjected to an attack with radioactive materials. When that day arrives, let’s not forget who the real culprits are.
What’s going on in the Middle East, isn’t about a bunch marauding lunatics in the desert. It has everything to do with the despicable deeds of our government, and how they use chaos and crisis to enslave the American people.
