Sec. of State Hillary Clinton gave a speech to the Community of Democracies in Poland Saturday for the 10th anniversary celebration of the founding of the organization, whose 16 members strive to “forge international consensus on ways to support and promote democracy.”
“We must be wary of the steel vise in which governments around the world are slowly crushing civil society and the human spirit,” Clinton was quoted in an Associated Press propaganda piece titled Clinton: Activists Being Crushed By ‘Steel Vise’ Around the World.
“Intolerant governments across the globe are ‘slowly crushing’ activist and advocacy groups that play an essential role in the development of democracy,” she added.
Which “intolerant governments” was she referring too? She named a few of the usual suspects: Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, China, Russia, Zimbabwe, and other countries non-compliant to the globalists’ demands. Well, Mrs. Clinton may have left a few countries off the list.
Surely she wasn’t referring to the recent tyrannical “steel vise” imposed on peaceful activists at the recent G20/G8 when she said, “Democracies don’t fear their own people. They recognize that citizens must be free to come together, to advocate and agitate.”
Nor could she possibly have been talking about Israel’s deadly “steel vise” of using special forces to attack Gaza Peace Flotilla activists. Apparently the globalists are so terrified of their “own people” that, even in beacons of democracy, they need a billion-dollar security force wherever they travel and elite soldiers to keep the rabble of activists muffled.
In this new world order, citizens are free to “agitate” unless they are against wars, globalism, banking cartels, and rationed health care; while advocating for such evil endeavors as human rights, peace, and social justice. It seems the greatest threat to the activists, who Clinton claims to be speaking for, is the globalist agenda where resources are borderless and democratic governments are rendered irrelevant.
The AP misinformation story said, “Poland was a fitting setting for Clinton’s address. The country escaped from decades of totalitarianism in the downfall of the Soviet Union and the collapse of communism.” Oh, how triumphant they must feel when their democratically-elected anti-European Union government were all suspiciously killed in the April plane crash.
The style of government makes no difference to the corporate fascist agenda. They figured out a long time ago that it is much easier to colonize the world through debt than through systems of government. In the false democracy of America, the pending bankruptcy of liberty where activists are being criminalized is called the Enemy Belligerent Act and the Cyber Security Act. The “steel vise” isn’t coming to America, it is already here.
In a brazenly Orwellian statement released in Washington, President Obama said the United States is concerned about, “the spread of restrictions on civil society, the growing use of law to curb rather than enhance freedom and widespread corruption that is undermining the faith of citizens in their governments,” as they move to tax alternative views in America.
Queen globalist Clinton did have one true statement in her speech, but only if she was referring to the United States, Canada, Israel, and other prominent members of the Community of Democracies: “Some of the countries engaging in these behaviors still claim to be democracies.”
