Part two in a propaganda blitz or slow news day? That is the real question when it comes to the flurry of mainstream media reports regarding three people arrested in New Jersey over the possession of firearms and firearms-related material.
If you were to pay attention to the mainstream press (which, by now you really shouldn’t be doing) you would believe that ISIS has triggered another one of its many sleeper cells and was only narrowly stopped before committing a massive terror attack in the New York-New Jersey Holland tunnel.
The reality? Three people were driving through the area with weapons in their vehicle, drugs, and a cracked windshield.
Consider the report by Phillip Messing of the New York Post who reported the story without the hype of many other news agencies. He writes,
Three people were busted Tuesday with a cache of firearms, ammunition and body armor at the Holland Tunnel, law enforcement sources said.
Cops at the New Jersey entrance of the tunnel stopped a pickup truck — with three Pennsylvania residents in it — for a cracked windshield, Port Authority sources told The Post. After spotting a gun, cops searched the vehicle and uncovered loaded weapons, about 2,000 rounds of ammo and ballistic vests, sources said.
NBC News said the three people were two men in their 50s and a 20-something woman.
Their weapons cache also included a camouflage helmet and night goggles, NBC reported.
RT furthers the report by stating:
The Joint Terrorism Task Force is assisting in the investigation, a source told NBC4. However, law enforcement officials told the network that the three suspects are “gun enthusiasts,” and that there is no terror threat.
Investigators are looking into whether the suspects were planning to shoot a rival drug dealer, the source said.
But while Messing of the New York Post notably avoided the hype of other reports, the real question is why is this story even being reported to begin with?
At this point, we have a relatively routine situation that is not cause for alarm. Three adults traveling in a truck together with firearms (which they have a right to own and travel with), body armor (which is legal in some contexts but many, including this writer, would argue should not be solely reserved for special people in uniform), and drugs (which many, including this writer again, argue should never be a cause for arrest to begin with). Why were they pulled over and searched? They had a cracked windshield.
Are you frightened yet? They had a cracked windshield! Move over ISIS! These people were armed, possessed arbitrarily banned substances, and (gasp!) had a cracked windshield!
So why the hype in the media? After all, this case is scarcely cause for concern and panic; unless, of course, you are concerned and panicking for your right to own guns, make personal choices for yourself, and travel.
The reason why the mainstream press is leaping on a story such as this is because an all-out war has been declared on the Second Amendment in the United States. An all-out war has been declared on the minds of the American public as well.
The media is not worried that most who read the story will realize that they should have been doing something else with their time because most people simply won’t read the story to begin with. They will see the headline “Three Armed Suspects Found Arrested In NY Holland Tunnel” and immediately transpose the headline with something like “ISIS tried to blow up the Holland Tunnel” and “ISIS had easy access to guns.” For those a little more interested in the affairs of the world – the right will translate the report to mean “Muslims” and the left will translate it to mean “racists.”
At this point, successful indoctrination has been achieved and the public need only be prodded with the right headline to move them in the desired direction in which the oligarchs wish to see them go. A little fear goes a long way with a population terrorized by its own government and media in overdrive since 9/11 and a generation of Americans now growing up knowing nothing else but constant fear, terrorism, and radicalization.
And there we have it.
When there is no domestic terror to capitalize on (there almost never has been), the FBI, CIA, and the shadow government will create it as in 9/11, New York, Oklahoma City, Orlando, Boston, Portland, and so many others.
When the intelligence apparatus is lagging behind on the physical terror assembly line, however, the media will simply step in to make something out of nothing and reinforce the indoctrination Americans have been receiving at an ever-increasing rate ever since 9/11.
Terrorism, ex nihilo.

very true,good writing.
the world is sick and tired of this AMERICAN BULLSHIT, all terrorist sabotage operations are implemented by CIA-MOSSAD, and nobody else.
Sounds alot like my vehicle – cracked wind shield and all. I wish I had body armor.
ISIS wouldn’t have cracked windshields in those Toyota pickups we bought them.
Ugh. I am so sick of the word “terrified”. As if we are frightened sheep bleating to get back into the sheepfold. This is over-the-top stupidity. Ya’ll go be scared, I don’t have time for fear. I have things to do.
Someone will come tuck you in later.
The Port Authority cops should have called one of those on-site windshield repair companies, and after it was fixed, let them continue on their mission, wishing them good luck and god speed.
Where I live they would be called hunters.
TOO funny Pyra
