Rand Paul says ‘without question’ Fauci belongs in jail 10/6/23
Paul outlines his beliefs in his upcoming book: Deception: The Great Covid Cover-Up. When talking to Hannity, the senator teased that more action could come against Fauci. “We deserve to know what happened,” he said. “I think the book will go a long way to convincing the rest of America that this man was a traitor to his country,” Paul later added about Fauci.

Senator Rand Paul was on to Anthony Fauci from the start. Wielding previously unimaginable power, Fauci misled the country about the origins of the Covid pandemic and shut down scientific dissent.
One of the few leaders who dared to challenge “America’s Doctor” was Senator Rand Paul, himself a physician. Deception is his indictment of the catastrophic failures of the public health bureaucracy during the pandemic.
Senator Paul presents the evidence that:
- The Covid virus was likely the product of gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab in China—research funded in part by the U.S. government.
- Taxpayer dollars for that research were deceptively funneled to Wuhan without the required regulatory review.
- Fauci and his scientific yes-men knew from day one about Covid’s origin and tried to cover it up.
- Fauci and his allies ruthlessly attacked everyone—including highly qualified scientists—who threatened to reveal the truth about the pandemic.
Why? Hundreds of millions of dollars of grants and unreported royalties were at stake, and heads would roll if the truth got out. It almost worked. At Fauci’s insistence, the government imposed needlessly extreme lockdowns on Americans at the cost of immense personal and economic destruction.
Covid-19 was deadly, but the real killer was the coverup, led by America’s most durable medical bureaucrat—a man for whom the truth was too often expendable. Senator Paul makes a powerful case that funding dangerous bioengineering in a totalitarian country is madness. If we don’t heed this warning, the next pandemic could be far worse.
More than 18 months into the coronavirus pandemic, our government leaders still can’t manage to have a rational conversation about a crucial public health question: How did the covid-19 crisis begin? While our leaders bicker, we are losing sight of the urgent need to fully investigate the origins of the coronavirus outbreak, including a full investigation of the labs in Wuhan, China.
Tuesday’s yelling match between Anthony S. Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) brought the origins issue back into the public eye in the worst possible way. This was not the pair’s first public fight on the matter, and both men came prepared to do battle. But their clash was all heat and no light. They got bogged down in a technical and irrelevant debate over whether the bat coronavirus research the National Institutes of Health funded in Wuhan qualifies as “gain of function” research.
Paul, who believes the evidence points to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), the world’s leading bat coronavirus lab, as the source of the outbreak, pressed Fauci about a scientific paper by WIV’s head bat researcher, Shi Zhengli. Arguing that her work modifying viruses to make them more transmissible to humans constitutes “gain of function research,” he accused Fauci of lying to Congress, a federal crime.
Fauci insisted that it “was judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain of function.” He was using a specific definition crafted by the Department of Health and Human Services in 2017 when the Obama administration’s pause on gain of function research was lifted. “And Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly,” Fauci added.

Sen. Rand Paul takes aim at Dr. Fauci in new book focused on the COVID-19 ‘cover-up’ – FOX News
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., discusses the origins of COVID, telling ‘America Reports’ there is a ‘mountain of evidence’ the virus came from a lab and no proof it came from animals.
FIRST ON FOX: Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul will release a book later this year that focuses on the origins of the coronavirus pandemic, and argues that former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’ director Dr. Anthony Fauci deceived the world about the disease.
The book is called “Deception: The Great Covid Coverup” and will be released in October by Regnery Publishing, a Salem Media Group company and the publisher of numerous conservative books.
“Covid-19 was deadly, but the real killer was the cover-up, led by Anthony Fauci — America’s most durable medical bureaucrat — who knew from the beginning the virus was likely genetically engineered and possibly leaked from a lab,” Paul said in a statement in the publisher’s news release.
“He knew because he’d skirted regulations and funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan and elsewhere. We can’t allow Fauci and his yes-men to walk away from what they’ve done, or the next pandemic may be far worse.”

Rand Paul Exposes the Great COVID Cover-Up | Guest: Sen. Rand Paul | Ep 248 10/11/23
The government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic was built on lies — from the origin of the virus to the effectiveness of facemasks. No one has been more vigilant in exposing those lies than @SenatorRandPaulKY. In his new book “Deception: The Great COVID Cover-Up,” Sen. Paul brings the receipts on the worst public policy failure and power grab of our lifetimes. Matt Kibbe hosts an exclusive livestreamed conversation during which the senator discusses his book and answers questions from the audience.
Rand Paul mentions the article by Nicholas Wade: Evidence on the origin of Covid leads to lab in Wuhan – Former NY Times Science Editor writes extensive article in Medium.
In Tucker Carlson: Anthony Fauci let the coronavirus pandemic happen, why isn’t there a criminal investigation? Tucker says:
We can’t recommend more strongly a new piece by Nicholas Wade, who for more than 50 years has been one of the preeminent science writers in the world. For 30 years, Nicholas Wade worked for the New York Times, he edited the science section there. But this piece did not run in the New York Times, he edited the science section there. But this piece did not run in the New York Times. It ran on Medium. And the piece explains where the virus almost certainly came from. In it, Wade makes it clear that, more than any other single American, Tony Fauci is responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic. Wade lays out a nearly insurmountable amount of evidence that this virus originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Central China. We’ve raised this possibility from the early days of the pandemic. But this piece all but proves it.
The origin of COVID: Did people or nature open Pandora’s box at Wuhan? by Nicholas Wade begins:
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted lives the world over for more than a year. Its death toll will soon reach three million people. Yet the origin of pandemic remains uncertain: The political agendas of governments and scientists have generated thick clouds of obfuscation, which the mainstream press seems helpless to dispel. In what follows I will sort through the available scientific facts, which hold many clues as to what happened, and provide readers with the evidence to make their own judgments. I will then try to assess the complex issue of blame, which starts with, but extends far beyond, the government of China.
Wade’s article was cited in calls for a criminal investigation into Fauci’s funding research in the Wuhan lab in China. Wade is a British-born scientific reporter, editor, and author. He worked for Nature, a weekly scientific magazine based in London, from 1967 to 1971, becoming deputy editor and Washington correspondent.
In 1971, he joined the news staff of Science, a weekly scientific journal published in Washington, and in 1982 became a member of the editorial board of The New York Times, writing editorials on science, health, the environment and military technology. He was science editor of The New York Times from 1990 to 1996, and was a science reporter at the Times from 1997 to 2012.
Wade is the author of several books, including The Ultimate Experiment, The Nobel Duel, Betrayers of the Truth, A World Beyond Healing, Lifescript, Before the Dawn, and The Faith Instinct. He was born in 1942 in Aylesbury, England, and educated at Eton and King’s College, Cambridge. Wade received a BA degree in natural sciences in 1964. His book Before the Dawn received a 2007 Science-in-Society Journalism Award.

BIDEN MAKES TEMPORARY PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS OFFICE PERMANENT
“On the heels of evidence that Dr. Birx and the U.S. military drove the American pandemic response; the White House has announced a new permanent pandemic office in the Executive Branch run by an ex-Pentagon & NSC asset. The move aligns with the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty agenda, setting up a concerning turn-key global response to “public health threats” driven by the W.H.O.
