Expert warnings about babies and screen time are nothing new. Neither are warnings about cell phone and WiFi radiation exposure and babies – including from the American Academy of Pediatrics. In fact, NO SAFE LEVEL of wireless radiation exposure has even been scientifically determined for kids or pregnant women. 5G, Bluetooth, cell phone radiation and WiFi are all sources of wireless (see 1, 2). Electric, gas, and water utility “Smart” Meters operate via wireless (see 1, 2. 3. 4).
Research has determined that exposure can cause many health issues including increased cancer risk AND weakening or disrupting the blood-brain barrier and causing it to leak (see 1, 2. 3). Children seem to be much more affected because they are smaller and their skulls are thinner. Think about that before putting a wireless baby monitor next to your babies’ beds or a “Smart” Diaper on their bottoms with an activity tracker strapped to your wrist (see 1, 2). But I digress. Tech insiders (including Bill Gates) have been limiting their own kids’ screen time all along.
More about “Screen Time” and babies from MedPageToday:
Babies who watched television or video screens when they were 12 months old showed more autism-like symptoms when they reached age 2, a prospective study showed.
Similarly, 12-month-old infants who had daily play with their parents had fewer autism-like symptoms at age 2, reported David Bennett, PhD, of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and co-authors
Viewing screens at age 12 months was associated with 4.2% greater autism spectrum disorder (ASD)-like symptoms compared with not viewing screens, the researchers wrote online in JAMA Pediatrics. Daily play time with a parent was associated with 8.9% fewer ASD-like symptoms compared with less frequent play, the team added.
Government agencies worldwide have been taking action to warn about wireless exposure to children – most recently in Russia – for many years already. Not in the U.S. though. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect Americans by regulating the telecom industry. They don’t. They have even refused to update 24-year-old regulations regarding wireless radiation AND they are using the pandemic as an excuse to speed up 5G deployment (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and approve WiFi 6! Lawsuits have been filed against them for NOT protecting Americans from unsafe levels of radiation (see 1, 2) and unwanted widespread 5G deployment (see 1, 2, 3) which includes satellites blasting it at us from space (see 1, 2, 3). 5G opponents include the Department of Defense whose opposition inspired Congress to finally threaten to take action against the agency.
But I digress again. Reducing “screen time” may help babies but it doesn’t seem like it will be nearly enough, does it? None of this wireless seems to be good for babies or the rest of us or even our pets.
