As most readers of Activist Post know, we have been chronicling the evolution of humanoid robots for years.
Jason Bermas breaks down the latest developments with one robot in particular that we previously highlighted – ATLAS – brought to us by DARPA through Boston Dynamics.
ATLAS has now broken free from its formerly tethered state from just a couple of years ago and is now flipping through the air and moving like a gymnast. As Jason states, even without autonomous artificial intelligence, the potential for human link-up to use ATLAS as a remote avatar is incredible.
Perhaps the most shocking thing that Jason mentions, however, is that DARPA’s YouTube channel, which mentions all of this, has almost no viewership. It would be a great time for all of us to at least get up to speed with what they publicly revealing.
