Actually, this is the federal government telling deadbeats to pay up.
Why no mention of what the Forbes headline says, that the revocation of a passport ONLY applies to those who have NOT contested their delinquent tax status? Is it because that would diminish the argument? Isn’t that intellectually dishonest? (And why the rant about how people have “the right to travel within the US?” You do NOT need a passport to travel domestically.)
The US has the right to control it boarders, right? Why shouldn’t that authority be used against people who are in essence stealing from every American citizen? As your passport clearly states, the document is the property go the US State Dept. and is subject to revocation. I say take it say take it away. That will get the deadbeat’s attention.

And everyone will voluntarily send their tax payment to Washington?
They don’t need our interest payment money. We should have our own money to run the Country, not borrow it at interest.
And most of the time we don’t even get REAL money we pay interest on, just a digital number. They loan us money they don’t even have and charge us interest.
So few understand as well. How many of us could get away with this scam in the private sector. Zero. We would go to jail immediately.
If the laws do not apply equally to everyone, they are no good for anyone.

The interest paid to the Fed. reserve members as you are surety for interest on your own money. To think it goes anywhere else is irresponsibly stupid. For lack of knowledge we die. The owners of all things including the “people” themselves would just as soon see most of us die. Forbes, Delano, Russell, Purdue… Intel alphabet soup…the pushers want their money and then some. They want your life for their wars. They want money off the top on all the work the average person performs. Most of us are nothing but commodities that buy commodities (thanks to the likes of Bernard Baruch and his west ziostan henchmen, Jekyll Island, War Industries Board WWI – including Samuel Bush). We’re a puppet country, a beast that does what it is told to do since Alexander Hamilton and his federalist friends sold the country to self serving interests. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd/Federal Reserve banks are mostly foreign owned and all privately owned. Henry Ford thought the people would run against DC (created by the Organic Act of 1871), once we understood how money was created, but we are sheeple.
So the owners trot out Hamilton on broadway and people clap without a clue. Next thing you know, House will be on broadway for Edward Mandel House, a most depraved troglodyte, like what runs the country and most other countries today. The rest of the world is in the same boat, paying interest on a debt that should never had any interest (interest on our own money is unconscionable). We are stupid indeed!
Same thing goes on a Local level. If you have a newer car the excise tax is large. That wasn’t enough, a few years ago they decided to pick on 20 year old cars hard. They taxed me for a 1995 pickup with 180,000 on it, said it’s worth 3,500$. They exaggerate the worth of the cars, without even seeing them. How does a newer car use the roads more than an older car? Are they harder on the tar?
Washington considers the Constitution for the United States of America lower than toilet paper.
