This song was one of the most popular songs of 1969 worldwide. In the US, it reached the #1 position on both the Billboard Hot 100 (for 6 weeks in April and May) and the Billboard Easy Listening chart. It also reached the top of the sales charts in Canada and elsewhere. Billboard ranked it as the No. 2 Hot 100 single for 1969, although “Aquarius (Let the Sunshine In)” would go on to outsell the No. 1 Hot 100 single for 1969, “Sugar Sugar” by The Archies, and consistently ranks several positions above it in the all-time chart.

The recording won both the Grammy Award for Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Group for the Grammy Awards of 1970, after being published on the album The Age of Aquarius by the 5th Dimension, and also being released as a seven-inch vinyl single record. In 2004, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

The lyrics of this song were based on the astrological belief that the world would soon be entering the “Age of Aquarius“, an age of love, light, and humanity, unlike the current “Age of Pisces“. The circumstances for the change are given as: “When the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars.” Astrologer Neil Spencer denounced the lyrics as “astrological gibberish”, noting that Jupiter forms an astrological aspect with Mars several times a year and the moon is in the 7th House for two hours every day.

The song with its uplifting, elegance, and tremendous harmonies, is a combination of two songs written for the 1967 iconoclastic musical Hair by James Rado (lyrics), Gerome Ragni (lyrics), and Galt MacDermot (music). The 5th Dimension was notable for a sound that blended pop, jazz, R&B, and gospel.

The group has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, inducted August 9, 1991. The group was also inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2002. The song was used in the movie Forrest Gump (1994) and covered by many artists: Diana Ross, Andy Williams, The Osmonds, The Ventures, Donna Summer, Ray Stevens, Cila Black, Reaction, Johnny Mathis, Tragedy.

The Dark Age: 2000-2023

In early 2020 after COVID was announced, we were first act to “shelter in place” for 15 days to “flatten the curve” to protect hospitals. With the imposition of the draconian COVID policies, humanity entered a very dark age. It was an age of enormous fear, violation of our God-given rights protected by the First Amendment of Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Assembly, and Freedom of Religion.

Although the CDC stats in early 2020 showed COVID-19 was little threat to anyone, most of the world was locked down, “non-essential” businesses were closed without due process or just compensation as were public schools, people were forced to wear suffocating ineffective masks and to “social distance” by keeping six feet apart.

Many people were forced to take the invasive PCR test although Kary Mullis, its inventor, said it could be used to detect viruses. Mullis conveniently died on August 7, 2019. Had he lived to mid-2020, the PCR test could not have been used for COVID. Without the PCR tests, there would have been no “pandemic” of “cases” to terrify many people into compliance.

How To Restore Free Speech In Academia reminds us that when Dr. Francis Collins was the head of the National Institute of Health (NIH) in 2021, he dismissed the authors of The Great Barrington Declaration as “fringe scientists”. He refused to meet with them although The Declaration was written by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford University, Dr. Martin Kulldorff then of Harvard Medical School, and Dr. Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University. The Declaration has since been signed by more than 940,000 people including doctors and scientists!

Dr. Collins emailed Dr. Anthony Fauci who was then head of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) on 10/8/20 to say: ‘There needs to be a quick and devastating take down’. So, they imposed a false COVID “consensus” although many top doctors and scientists had publicly disagreed with it.

From 2020-2023, anyone who questioned the COVID-19 “consensus” was ridiculed, condemned, vilified, silenced, ostracized, and accused of being a “conspiracy theorist” who was causing “vaccine hesitancy” and “killing grandma”. Big Tech and social media banned top doctors and scientists who questioned the unprecedented lockdown of healthy people. Several MDs had their licenses threatened or lost their jobs.

Many proms, graduations, weddings, funerals, holiday dinners, and other large gathering were cancelled. Playgrounds were closed. In violation of The Nuremberg Code passed after the Holocaust of World War, many Americans were required to get the rushed, poorly-tested, gene-altering, experimental COVID-19 shots. Now Prove It. explained in New York in 2021, people couldn’t go to gyms, restaurants, theaters, Broadway shows, etc. unless they had COVID “passports” showing proof of vaccination.
