In his book, Setting God Free, Seán ÓLaoire, PhD, tells how for the last twenty years of his father’s life he lived in a remote area of Munster (the southernmost province of Ireland) where his actual postal address was:
Teach Dearg (The Red House)
Scairtinacillin (near the little bush by the children’s graveyard)
Béal an Dhā Chab (at the mouth of the two river fords)
Contae Chorchaigh (in the county of the marsh lands]
In comparison, Dr. ÓLaoire shares his own modern, sterilized postal address:
PO Box 427
Healdsburg CA 95448
“Which of those two addresses tells you more about where my father lived and where I lived?” asks ÓLaoire. “It’s like we have taken a vibrantly alive high definition, color video and reduced it to a still photo draining it of all but gray tones.”
Dr. ÓLaoire goes on to show how modern civilization not only sterilizes postal addresses but also the stories we tell each other:
“Some cultures value the details of the story, while others sterilize their stories, thus losing the texture and nuance of life… When you drain life of stories, you drain it of meaning; and when you drain it of meaning you create a nightmare out of God’s dream—stripping the cosmos of the miraculous.”
This is why I wrote Much Ado About Corona: A Dystopian Love Story. When it became obvious (to 20-50% of the population) that we’d been scamdemized, the alternative media retaliated largely with statistics and studies.
I decided to counter the lies with a literary-romantic-adventure story about a young man and his Indigenous grandfather; a pretty baker and her conspiracy theories; a comic book collector and his daring imagination; a silent chef and his French Canadian pea soup recipe; and a police officer obsessed with COVID mandates — all set in the fictional town of Moosehead on the French River in Northern Ontario.
Not exactly something The British Medical Journal is going to publish.
To my knowledge, Much Ado About Corona is the only long-form story that exposes the truth and celebrates the brave dissidents that kept the world from being stripped down to, as Dr. Seán ÓLaoire puts it, a nightmare.
I believe it is the only novel out there about those crazy years because the pandemic farce failed and the globalists don’t want people remembering the embarrassing details.
Well, the embarrassing details of totalitarianism and the inspiring miracles of bold non-compliance are all depicted in my 500-page dystopian love story. Filled with equal parts humour, horror and hope you can purchase copies here.
