Trump, House Republicans plot to kill border deal

Illegal immigration has rocketed to the top of voters’ concerns, and Biden has become increasingly desperate for a solution…. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.)….called the deal “dead on arrival” on Friday, then doubled down over the weekend, claiming it wouldn’t do enough to stop illegal border crossings…. The border bill….will include a measure that effectively would block illegal border crossers from asylum once the number of migrant encounters hits a daily average of 5,000 in a week or 8,500 on a single day, as Axios has reported.

So, rather than closing the border except to the few people who qualify for asylum, the bill would allow an average of 5,000 illegal immigrants into America PER DAY and up to 8,499! That means that each month an average of another 150,000 (and up to 254,970) illegal aliens will flood into America on top of the 6 million illegals Biden let in over the last three years. Some sites report 10 to 13 million illegals under Biden. Yet, that exceed the population of 35 US states! So, the bill would allow in an average of 1,800,000 (and up to 3,059,640) illegal aliens each year! Where will they go? New York City, Chicago, and Denver can’t take any more.

Biden endorses emerging deal to give US new power to clamp down on border crossings says Biden commented:

the deal that Senate negotiators have worked toward is both tough and fair. What’s been negotiated would – if passed into law – be the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country. It would give me, as President, a new emergency authority to shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed. And if given that authority, I would use it the day I sign the bill into law.

However, as Trump and Gov. Abbot of Texas point out, no new bill is needed because Biden already has the authority to close the border – as President Trump did.

Multi-Faceted Biden Border Crisis

John Cornyn III is an attorney and former jurist who served on the Texas Supreme Court from 1991-1997 and as the attorney general of Texas from 1999-2002. He has been serving as the senior Republican senator from Texas since 2002.

And we know the overwhelming majority of fentanyl comes across the U.S.-Mexico border.

Precursor chemicals are manufactured in China and shipped to Mexico. Those chemicals are used by Mexican drug cartels to produce fentanyl in secret drug labs before the cartels traffic this deadly fentanyl across America’s southern border and distribute it to communities around the country.

Between October 2022 and April 2023, Customs and Border Protection seized more than 17,000 pounds of fentanyl at the southern border. In fact, from March of 2022 to March of 2023, CBP seized enough fentanyl to kill every single American 14 times over.

Unfortunately, we know CBP isn’t able to catch every ounce of illicit drugs coming across the border. Over the past couple of years, the unprecedented border crisis has affected all of our missions at the southern border – even those that have nothing to do with migration.

Law enforcement have been shifted from the front lines in order to process and care for migrants. Instead of stopping dangerous drugs and criminals, many agents are now pushing paper and changing diapers. No one is more thrilled by the situation than the drug cartels. With fewer agents on the front lines, they have a clear and easy path to move fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, and other deadly drugs into the United States.

Our communities are being ravaged by the overdose epidemic, and the Biden administration has given the cartels clear and easy corridors to traffic even more poison into the United States.”

Illegal immigrant population soars under Biden: government data

Illegal border crossers total over 10 million since Biden inauguration: Total is greater than the individual populations of 41 states. The only states with an estimated population greater than the number of illegal border crossers are California, Texas, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia and North Carolina.

The massive burden of Biden’s undocumented immigrants: This administration isn’t basing its admissions on America’s needs, and it isn’t ensuring that the migrants it admits will be able to take care of their financial needs without relying on government assistance. Many of the administration’s migrants were released into the country for an asylum hearing, but the administration has overwhelmed the asylum system by admitting too many people. The immigration court has a backlog of 2,930,934 cases, and the administration is not making any progress on reducing it. According to the Congressional Research Service, even if the size of the immigration court were to be increased from approximately 600 judges to 1,349 judges, it would still take 10 years to clear the backlog.

For their part, Chicago officials say with 15,000 asylum seekers in the city’s care, the shelter system has “reached capacity,” according to a news release. “We cannot continue to do the federal government’s job. We have spoken to FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and other federal officials who have expressed concern about the border surge, but not offered additional help. We need action and we need it now,” Adams said. “We are calling for the federal declaration of emergency, financial support and a national resettlement strategy.”

The coordinated, multi-city ask is an attempt to step up pressure on Congress and President Joe Biden’s administration, even as previous requests for Washington to intervene have been met with a relatively muted response.

Kennedy’s Solution To Border Crisis

A recent public opinion poll shows that immigration is the #1 concern among Americans. Voters say President Biden’s open border policy has been a complete disaster. The first step to end this crisis is to reassert control over our border. Most Americans want Biden to immediately close the border. So far, Biden has refused to act.

The first victims of our open border policy are the immigrants themselves. Migrants are routinely robbed, raped, kidnapped, and sex trafficked. Compassion and decency demand that we do not allow the current situation to continue. Conscience demands we act immediately to stop the waves of illegal immigration so we can return to the orderly, lawful immigration policies our nation was founded upon.

Fentanyl and methamphetamine flood our country, killing more and more Americans every day. The worst kind of organized crime pours into our streets, towns, and cities. RFK Jr. says border situation is unsustainable but fixable

Presidential contender Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tuesday the migrant influx at the southern U.S. border is “not sustainable” and pledged to fix it overnight if he is elected. Mr. Kennedy, an independent, said as president he would plug “27 big gaps” in border barriers where many migrants are coming through while restoring sensors and other equipment to monitor the border.

“The border patrol is utterly demoralized, you could stop this very quickly and there doesn’t seem to be any interest in the Biden administration in doing it,” Mr. Kennedy told “Fox and Friends.” “We need asylum judges on the border to adjudicate the cases there,” he said, adding that people with asylum claims must remain in Mexico while their claims are processed.

Mr. Kennedy is running as an independent as the U.S. electorate prepares for a rematch between President Biden and Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Last night, Biden’s own Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was impeached by the House of Representatives for his failure to enforce border laws. This unprecedented move underscores the urgency and severity of the situation we face. Our country is on the brink of being lost, and we cannot afford to remain silent any longer. Under his watch, the number of people taken into custody by the U.S. Border Patrol has reached an average of 2 million per year — the highest levels in the agency’s 100-year history.

President Biden continues to play chicken with our lives and refuses to use executive authority to secure the border. In fact, he walked back many of the restrictions that were keeping the crisis under control. President Biden has held office for 50 years — he’s playing dumb when he pretends he doesn’t know what to do. He’s playing politics when he ties border security to overseas war funding.

This is a deliberate political move. It’s egregious that in the United States we have illegal migrants sleeping in hotels while veterans sleep on the street. Enough is enough.
