Trump Administration Gifts Syrian Terrorist-Linked Organization White Helmets $6.6 Million

By Aaron Kesel

The drain the swamp Trump administration (made up entirely of Goldman Sachs and warmongers) has unilaterally proven that it is one of the most dangerous hypocritical administration in U.S. history gifting “defensive weapons” to Ukraine for Christmas, bombing Syria twice in a two-year span and now gifting the terrorist-linked White Helmets a 6.6 million dollar weapons deal as stated in a press release by the U.S. State Department.

The President has authorized the United States Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of State to release approximately $6.6 million for the continuation of the vital, life-saving operations of the Syrian Civil Defense, more commonly known as the White Helmets, and the UN’s International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism (IIIM).

The United States Government strongly supports the White Helmets who have saved more than 100,000 lives since the conflict began, including victims of Assad’s chemical weapons attacks. These heroic first responders have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world and continue to be deliberately targeted by the Syrian regime and Russian airstrikes.‎ Since 2013, more than 230 of these brave volunteers have been killed while working to save innocent Syrian civilians.

The IIIM’s work is vital to assisting the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for the most serious crimes under international law committed in Syria since March 2011.‎ Their mandate, collecting and analyzing evidence of violations of international humanitarian law and human rights abuses‎ will help ensure those responsible for these crimes are ultimately held accountable.

This comes after several strange anomalies were found in the White Helmets footage after the alleged chemical weapons attack in East Ghouta suburb of Douma (east of Syria’s capital city of Damascus) in April earlier this year, Activist Post reported.

This also comes after the UK has announced it is considering increasing funds provided to the White Helmets, itself being the biggest financial supporter of the terrorist propaganda organization.

It is further worth noting that the region in Syria that Western sources are from is controlled by the Al Qaeda-allied terrorist group Jaysh al-Islam. Further, the reports we’re seeing cited by the press are coming from the Western-backed and Al Qaeda-affiliated propaganda firm the White Helmets and the “pro-opposition Ghouta Media Center.”

As WikiLeaks noted, the White Helmets are mostly funded by the U.S. government. Although they also get funding from London as its primary PR front in pursuit of a “No Fly Zone” in Syria.

Hilariously the leader of the White Helmets, Raed Salah, was denied entry into the U.S. at Washington’s Dulles International Airport and deported, due to “extremist connections” while on his way to receive a humanitarian relief award at a gala dinner hosted by USAID, when someone unknown intervened on his travel ban.

Additionally, Swedish medical doctors have raised questions about the legitimacy of the medical procedures being conducted in the White Helmets documentary on Netflix, and stated the groups so-called “rescue” procedures filmed in White Helmets propaganda videos is a complete staged hoax, Activist Post reported.

The procedures in the video below have been carefully analyzed to show that they were carried out on a dead child, who may have been killed by the White Helmets in order to film the footage. The smoking gun evidence from the video released, in sequenced screenshots, clearly showing that the White Helmets are not saving babies, but killing babies, The Duran reported.

The first attack under Trump – the chemical strike in Khan Sheikhoun – happened months after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had handed evidence to the Hague and the UN watchdog group OPCW that allegedly proves the Syrian rebels used mustard gas against civilians — an assertion that IHS Conflict Monitor had made in November, just a few months before the evidence was submitted.

A Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) expert, Theodore Postol, claimed the Khan Sheikhoun attack might have been staged by bad actors in the region, Yahoo News reported.

Sure enough, on February earlier this year, U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis admitted that the U.S. has had “no evidence” that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people for last year’s strike. It’s worth noting that the White Helmets and Al-Qaeda have put out propaganda before by faking attacks in the Middle East.

Despite this, the State Department, run by CIA Warhawk Mike Pompeo, previously issued a statement implicating Assad despite the lack of on-ground investigation into the attack. He highlighted that Russia’s “unwavering support” for Syria’s government “ultimately bears responsibility” for the alleged attacks.

The Assad regime and its backers must be held accountable and any further attacks prevented immediately. Russia, with its unwavering support for the regime, ultimately bears responsibility for these brutal attacks, targeting of countless civilians, and the suffocation of Syria’s most vulnerable communities with chemical weapons. By shielding its ally Syria, Russia has breached its commitments to the United Nations as a framework guarantor. It has betrayed the Chemical Weapons Convention and UN Security Council Resolution 2118. Russia’s protection of the Assad regime and failure to stop the use of chemical weapons in Syria calls into question its commitment to resolving the overall crisis and to larger non-proliferation priorities.

In order to determine what really happened on the ground, a probe is needed by the UN Security Council and the international community. The other possibility is much more sinister, and that is that the CIA was involved – not a crazy thought considering its history of regime change attempts in the region. Especially since the OPCW has been previously blocked by Western nations from conducting a forensic investigation into the Syrian chemical weapons attacks. One has to question why that’s the case?

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has announced they have been gathering information from all available sources and analyzing the data. At the same time, OPCW’s Director-General, Ambassador Ahmet Üzümcü, has considered the deployment of a Fact-Finding Mission (FFM) team to Douma to substantiate these allegations, Relief Web reported.

The White Helmets also faked a crisis scene previously that looked shockingly real for the infamous “mannequin challenge.” The video was then pulled after ridicule from their YouTube channel after raising immense levels of controversy. It was labeled as distasteful, but not before others on the Internet downloaded it and re-uploaded it.

Shockingly, this isn’t the first time that MSM has fallen for terrorist propaganda. In 2016 it was widely reported that there was a parked car bomb that killed 10 in a Baghdad neighborhood. The story was said to have come from police sources, but there was one small problem: after the story went viral, a video was leaked online showing the fake staged attack and actors faking injuries.

Activist Post reported last year, after the first chemical weapons attack, that the State Department had admitted that various groups inside Syria of “rebels” had used chemical weapons in a travel alert. Those groups included – Jobhat al-Nusra, Jobhat Fatah al-Sham, and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham but did not include Jaysh al-Islam.

The use of chemical and biological weapons in warfare was banned after World War I — a prohibition that was reaffirmed in 1972 and again in 1993.

With this renewed information, it’s highly possible that Syrian government opposition groups staged a chemical weapons attack. Or, as the Russians and Syria have stated previously, the chemicals were spread from bombs that the group had stored.

The White Helmets, in short, are al-Qaeda with a facelift.

On September 30th, 2016 The New York Times quietly released a leaked audio recording of Secretary of State John Kerry meeting with multiple factions within Syria. The revelation of the audio is that the Obama administration knowingly armed jihadists in the area to overthrow Assad and destabilize the Middle East.

Kerry’s off-the-record conversation was with two dozen ‘Syrian civilians’, all from U.S.-backed opposition-linked NGOs in education and medical groups working in ‘rebel-held’ areas in Syria. This opposition included ‘rescue workers,’ ambassadors from the White Helmets, a pseudo-NGO which serves as Washington and London’s primary PR front in pursuit of a “No Fly Zone” in Syria.

That audio confirmed the claim that former National Security Advisor and former DIA director Michael Flynn has made public for quite some time, saying arming ISIS was “a willful Washington decision.”

Then there are others within the Pentagon who leaked a report that also said the U.S. supported and backed “moderate rebels” to overthrow Assad other ex-intelligence officials backed the report.

These claims shed light on the 2012 presidential order that authorized U.S. support for “moderate rebels.”

2012: WASHINGTON, Aug 1 (Reuters) – President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government, U.S. sources familiar with the matter said.

Obama’s order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence “finding,” broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the rebels oust Assad.

With the audio of John Kerry admitting it, we finally have some verifiable proof direct from the bull’s mouth – the U.S. knowingly armed terrorists.

I’ve argued for use of force. I stood up. I’m the guy who stood up and announced we’re going to attack Assad because of the weapons, and then you know things evolved into a different process.

Two months later, also on November 2016, The New York Times also reported that IHS Conflict Monitor, a London-based intelligence collection and analysis service, found that ISIS had used chemical weapons 52 times in Syria and Iraq. This report appears to have been largely ignored and forgotten by the Trump administration, as President Donald Trump previously launched a missile bombardment on a Syrian military base. He did so without having any prior investigation performed to determine who was actually responsible for the chemical attack.

Another report that corroborates IHS Conflict Monitor has found that the Islamic State has used sulfur mustard — a chemical warfare agent in the past — at least 19 times. The group’s conclusions were based on local news reports, social media and the Islamic State’s own propaganda.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the Syrian government had completed the removal of all chemical weapons from the country in 2014. The WMD handover was corroborated by the United Nations Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and a statement by Senator John Kerry. While the Syrian government is on record surrendering their chemical weapons, the “moderate rebel” groups have used them increasingly.

Is there any evidence where ISIS (otherwise known as the “moderate rebels,” as documents obtained by Judicial Watch state is the growing jihadi presence within the Syrian rebel groups) could have potentially obtained chemical weapons?

Yes, in fact, Foreign Policy reported that in 2012 ISIS had captured a Syrian military base that was filled with chemical weapons. That’s one year prior to the 2013 infamous chemical attack where UN envoy investigators were shot at by snipers in Syria trying to investigate the incident.

According to Foreign Policy, their source — an ISIS fighter Abu Ahmad — stated that the terrorist group found barrels filled with chlorine, sarin, and mustard gas. Al-Nusra, an Al-Qaeda affiliate, then called for dozens of trucks to transport the chemical weapons according to Ahmad.

The Guardian also reported that ISIS had captured a massive former Iraqi chemical weapons factory with more than 2,000 degraded chemical rockets filled with sarin gas in 2014.

Then, that same year, it was claimed that two abandoned cylinders containing sarin were reportedly seized by Syrian government troops in an area controlled by armed opposition groups and handed over to the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

The letter stated that the cylinders were, “reportedly seized by the armed forces of the Syrian Arab Republic in August 2013 in an area reportedly under the control of armed opposition groups.”

Is there evidence that these weapons have been used before? Indeed, they have been used by several jihadist groups and not only ISIS.

Voice of America reported in 2016 that jihadist group, Jaysh al-Islam, used chemical weapons in attacks against Kurdish troops in Aleppo.

Syrian rebels have also been caught testing Tekkim chemicals on rabbits and even threatened to use the chemicals against civilians in Syria on a sectarian basis.

In late March, Activist Post reported shortly before the Syrian chemical weapons attack that the Syrian Army had claimed it had uncovered a chemical weapons “workshop” in East Ghouta after having liberated the territory.

What’s more, in that same report the government had warned of the possibility of a false flag attack blamed on the Syrian government.

Another now widely known fact, thanks to WikiLeaks, is that the Turkish President Erdogan’s son-in-law Berat Albayrak and family bought and sold ISIS oil through Powertrans, a Turkish energy company. Another dot to connect is something ZeroHedge outed in 2013 – Bilal Erdogan using his ships in Syria.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has even talked about Turkey’s involvement with ISIS oil in 2015 when Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 bomber.

Paul Vallely, a retired Major General of the U.S. Army also alleged Turkey’s responsibility in creating ISIS.

Turkey and Ukraine were also the two countries that helped facilitate the false flag attack on Syria, the chemical warfare attack that a source sent me leaked emails about then went viral and were posted everywhere within days including on the Dailymail and Yahoo.

Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh also pinned the Sarin gas crime on Washington’s proxies in 2013, and the rebels themselves threatened the West that they would expose what really happened if they were not given more advanced weaponry within one month – more on that in a minute, but first some background on what Kerry said in the leaded audio.

The problem is that, you know, you get, quote, ‘enforcers’ in there and then everybody ups the ante, right? Russia puts in more, Iran puts in more; Hezbollah is there more, and and Saudi Arabia and Turkey put all their surrogate money in, and you all are destroyed.

He also admitted that the U.S. is financing and training Hezbollah. In fact, major banks got caught knowingly funding Hezbollah. In 2012, a Senate report alleged that HSBC helped fund terrorists, Iran, and Mexican drug cartels – allowing them to launder money. A whistleblower, Everett Stern, CEO of Tactical Rabbit, alleged similar claims, saying that banks like HSBC not only know, but have admitted to doing business with companies that finance terrorists. More on the way they finance terrorists later.

“Hezbollah are not plotting against us (the United States)”, and that, “Hezbollah are being targeted by the opposition who we (the US) are arming and training,” Kerry, said.

Then there is the video by Storm Clouds Gathering investigating who armed and trained ISIS titled “The Covert Origins of ISIS.

In that video, Storm Clouds Gathering exposed a video of an FSA (Free Syrian Army) commander Abd Al-Baset Tawila with direct ties to Al-Nusra aka Al-Qaeda.

In the video, Commander Tawila threatens the international community demanding they give the FSA anti-tank/aircraft weapons and admits that the FSA has ties to the radical extremist Al-Nusra group that is labeled as a terrorist organization by the west.

Regarding the factions that the West wants to classify as terrorist organizations – the Nusra Front – we believe that we can conduct a dialogue with them.

Interviewer: About what?

Abd Al-Baset Tawila: About the shape of the future state, about the possibility of establishing a state that will suit everybody. We should cooperate and conduct a dialogue. It is no secret that we have ties with everybody, even the brothers in the Nusra Front, and we cooperate in many places.

Tawila is then questioned further ” Can you specify who [prevents you from getting these weapons]?” the interviewer asks.

“Uncle Sam,” he replies. (FULL TRANSCRIPT)

Interviewer: Who set this timetable?

Abd Al-Baset Tawila: The superpowers.

Interviewer: They set a timetable for the revolution?

Abd Al-Baset Tawila: Yes.

Interviewer: So what you are saying is that these countries want to control the timing of the victory of the revolution or the toppling of the regime?

Abd Al-Baset Tawila: Yes.

Interviewer: What is their aim?

Abd Al-Baset Tawila: Various agendas and schemes. I do not know all the details of these schemes, but I can tell you that it is difficult for us to overcome the timetable set for the revolution. Let me give you some evidence. The weapons and ammunition that the FSA receives do not include anti-aircraft or anti-tank weapons. We are unable to confront these [tanks and aircraft] here.

If we had received the quantity and type of ammunition we needed in the battlefield from the outset of the revolution, this regime would not have lasted more than a month or two.

Interviewer: Can you specify who [prevents you from getting these weapons]?

Abd Al-Baset Tawila: Uncle Sam.

As four-star U.S. General Wesley Clark said back in 2007, there was an insider plan to overthrow and invade seven countries – Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Iran, Syria – within five years, and that plot has failed but was clearly carried out to a large extent. Now John Kerry has confirmed what we have already known – U.S. military action and support for “moderate rebels” Syria wasn’t about helping the Syrian people – it was about regime change and overthrowing Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad. But did we really need John Kerry to admit it? Another U.S. General, Retired Lt. Gen. Tom McInerney, has also previously come out alleging that, “the U.S. helped build ISIS by backing the wrong types of people.”

In 2015, Yousaf al-Salafia a Pakistani ISIS commander was captured and confessed to receiving funds routed through the U.S. to recruit militants to fight in the Syrian civil war.

Further, an unconfirmed report from Veterans Today, also from 2015, claims an Israeli General captured in Iraq confessed to an Israel-Isis Coalition.

On the U.S. side of things, how was all this accomplished? For that answer, we turn to the Panama Papers and a whistleblower, Lt. Scott Bennett, who alleges the U.S. used 19,000 offshore Swiss bank accounts to fund terrorist organizations in his report Shell Game. The Panama Papers leak revealed the CIA was using offshore Panama accounts to fund gun running – code named Operation Goldfinger during Iran-Contra. Further, the CIA was running arms smuggling teams in Benghazi when the consulate was attacked. Just like with Operation Fast Furious, another gun smuggling operation in Mexico where the weapons made their way into the U.S from Mexican cartels.

The weapons they smuggled into Libya probably made their way into the hands of Al-Qaeda in Syria, so that’s just additional weapons that were given to terrorists that we cannot account for. Now with Trump sending another 6.6 million worth of weapons, it’s another thousand-some firearms we can’t account for in unknown actors’ hands.

Reuters had reported in 2012 that the FSA’s command was dominated by Islamic extremists, and The New York Times had reported that same year that the majority of the weapons that Washington sent into Syria were ending up in the hands of jihadists. For two years the U.S. government knew and continued sending in arms. Then in June of 2014, the Telegraph reported Al-Nusra merged with ISIS at the border between Iraq and Syria.

One solution to all of this was proposed by Hawaii Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard in 2016, literally called the “Stop Arming Terrorists Act.”

This reporter wonders how Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard feels about Trump shipping another 6.6 million dollars of weapons to people in a foreign country who we don’t know? It is completely unvetted funneling of more weapons into the Middle East proxy war, which continues policies of the Obama administration that now-sitting President Trump said he was against as a candidate. Because that’s what’s going on here — more hypocrisy and flip-flopping of politicians. I am still waiting for this administration to end its funding and aid to the Saudi Wahhabist government that is bombing Yemen.

For more information on the fake propaganda White Helmets “Syrian Defense organization,” see Brandon Turbeville’s article on journalist Vanessa Beeley’s coverage and reporting. Beeley has uncovered some auspicious links to the organization and gives a first-hand account of on-the-ground reporting. As another form of information follow White Helmets Exposed on Twitter, which is managed by a group of concerned citizen journalists, anti-war activists and online researchers who seek to expose the White Helmet ruse. As Turbeville writes:

White Helmets was founded by James Le Mesurier, an admitted former British army officer and mercenary with the Olive Group, a private contracting organization that is now merged with Blackwater-Academi into Constellis Holdings.[1] Although White Helmets half-heartedly attempts to hide its source of funding, the organization is linked to George Soros through a PR firm named Purpose Inc., a pro-war firm that argues for Western intervention against Assad. The co-founder of Purpose is Jeremy Heimans, who also helped found Avaaz, a “pro-democracy” group connected to Soros’ Open Society Foundation, SEIU, and MoveOn.org.

As Former Pink Floyd frontman turned peace activist Roger Waters said, the Syrian volunteer group is “a fake organization that is creating propaganda for jihadists and terrorists, don’t bomb Syria.”

  1. The greatest shock of this report is not that White Helmets is a terrorist PR organization but that Michael Flynn was the whistleblower that the US was funding ISIS His lies about Russian contacts pale in comparison to the open admission of one-time (briefly) National Security Advise Flynn that the US is a terrorist state.

Is this the real reason he was fired?

  2. Trump the paradox.
